Please don’t stay in room 615, the mattress is pee filled.

We had the worst stay for my birthday/Mother’s day. Let me start with saying the concierge and baggage staff were great from the start and even when leaving so they should get rave reviews. We booked the corner suite since we were told it had a separate room. We wanted to be able to order a meal in since our 1 year old goes to bed quite early. Unfortunately the room doors had slanted shutters and he was able to see us and the light the came in the room. There was no way to adjust the shutters. Also the doors had no lock to stay closed so he kept opening and closing them which was not fun. The a/c did not work on a hot weekend in Seattle so our room remained above 74 the whole night. We called the front desk but they said the maintenance guys were not there and they did not know how to adjust/fix it. I could handle the other stuff and suck it up but the last part killed me. We went to bed exhausted from trying to get our son to sleep and passed out. However I woke up around 6 am to the smell of piss. For a second I thought I wet the bed. But the sheets were dry and our son was in his pack n play. My husband lifted the sheet and the mattress was reeking of piss! Someone had clearly put a sheet over the piss stained mattress and was hoping that would cover it up! So sadly having a long lie in bed on Mother’s Day did not happen. They did not have another suite to move us into and only a smaller room which they said we couldn’t have for late checkout. They refused a refund since we booked with a 3rd party, and the 3rd party is chasing them for it now. It totally ruined the morning having to pack up our 1 year old and find another hotel for the day at 7 am. No apologies from the hotel either.

Amazing Andra in Seattle

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Hotel Andra was the perfect location for us, but what made the experience great was the amazing Concierge Fabrizio Bettini. He helped ensure we had a suite to meet our needs and most importantly, gave us the most amazing advice of where to eat and what to see. His restaurant recommendations were perfect! The staff at the hotel is amazing and friendly, from when the doors are opened by the valets and greeters to the housekeepng staff who whisked in to keep our room clean or fully stocked. It's a quick 5 min walk to the Market and we took full advantage of having all three of TD's restaurants at a stone's throw - Lola's, Serious Pie and Dahlia's where we ate breakfast every day. Thank you to the entire staff who made our visit perfect!

The comfy bed was the best.

Beautiful and super comfortable within walking distance of Pikes Market. So glad I picked this hotel! It was so comfortable to stay in, staff was so nice and it's in the perfect spot for most of the touristy things we did. Definitely will stay here again next time I'm in Seattle.

Hotel Andra Seattle MGallery- The ultimate lover's retreat

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

Amazing Homebase for a lovely, romantic weekend in Seattle. It was our anniversary and concierge Fabrizio made all the finest arrangements to ensure a special evening. Thank you, Fabrizio, for your guidance and that added touch. Lola is fantastic for breakfast and the whole hotel has been tastefully renovated and modernized. Mere steps from Pike's and numerous fantastic restaurants.

Functional stay

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

The hotel is 'functional' at best. While basic service standards were fulfilled, there was certainly no 'wow' factor in place. The staff came across inconsistent, and, at times, hostile. Details pertaining to each department as follows: 1. Reservations: I extend my appreciation to Heather, who meticulously crafted a pre-arrival email and taking note of the room specifications. However, the subsequent person who responded to my email did not address me by my name, but, rather, my email ID. This came across impersonal and somewhat disrespectful by hospitality standards. 2. Front Office: Paula and Sharon at Front Office were accomodating and efficient. They did their level best to allow for an early-check in and to ensure that the relevant amenities were set up in the rooms. 3. Restaurant: This was quite a joke. Understandably, it was a tenant leasing the premise from the establishment. However, as far as vouchers were offered, they should be honoured and 'tips' should not be solicited for 'complimentary' breakfasts/welcome drinks. This tipping culture in America, while embraced to a very large extent, may come across as a culture shock to visitors from other parts of the world; especially when the practice is implemented as part of the hotel system. The place was crowded and hotel guests had to wait in line together with members of the public, which compromised exclusivity. 4. Housekeeping: Inconsistent is the word. Towels were simply re-hung and not replaced and water mugs were not cleaned at times. The D&D sign was mysteriously hung on my door handle which resulted in no turndown service one evening. When this was reflected to Eric, the night DM, over the phone, he sounded nonchalent. Housekeeping also creates noise whilst carrying out their work. They have a horrid habit of slamming the doors loudly against the latches. Obviously, they do so to enable ease of entry while cleaning the rooms. This is a practice that should be avoided and one can only imagine that they are simply too lazy to use a rubber stopper as an alternative. 5. Concierge: This was perhaps the best feature of the hotel. Fabrizio was truly hospitable, sincere and warm. He represents the true essence of the MGallery, and, indeed, the Accor brand. Will I stay at this hotel when I next pass through Seattle? I highly doubt it. I reckon better service is rendered at surrounding Marriot Bonvoy properties instead.
