Modern Elegance In The Epicenter of Innovation. Rising from 5th Avenue and Marion Street in supreme style, Lotte Hotel Seattle presents the pinnacle of luxury escapism in a class all its own—through infinitely spacious suites, contemporary dining experiences and distinctly high-touch service that’s simply unforgettable. Two buildings—one the embodiment of the city’s storied history, the other a sparkling modern tower—converging into one to create a reimagining of Seattle luxury. Abstract symbols and playful design elements are found throughout the hotel. Symbolic nods to the Northwest include rustic and timber motifs referencing Seattle’s origin story as a logging town, as well as hallway carpets and light fixtures featuring timber patterns and furnishings - from metal tables to rubbish bins - in the shape of logs. Among the must-sees: the front desk, crafted from a 3,000-year-old Sequoia tree log.

We stayed at the Lotte Hotel for our anniversary. We had an incredible view. Waiting in our room was a giant sugar cookie that said happy anniversary. Everything was above and beyond and exceeded all of our expectations for our stay. The Lotte is close to all the action. We walked to most place and when we didn't walk Rusty gave us a ride in the hotel shuttle and get this--they lend you a car--a lexus no less to explore the area. No charge! Aurther gave us fun suggestions for things to see and really elevated our experience with his expertise and kindness. The restaurant is excellent. The room is decorated masterfully. I loved that the desiginer had a plaque in the room explaining his inspiration. There was a fun log to sit on while I did my make-up. It was fun how they incorporated elements of nature and still had all the luxury of a modern. Everything was perfect!

The Lotte Seattle was an enjoyable getaway for our anniversary. From start to finish, every employee we got in contact with was just pleasant and eager to help. I must say Antoine set up our Experience Lexus test drive perfectly. You can feel his enthusiasm from our correspondence, and I was glad to actually meet him as we were checking out. The room was spacious, although minimalist in design that some may find sterile. For those who want modern, clean lines, then the rooms in this property will be appreciated. Our corner suite had 180 degree view of the city and the water. The hotel is a walk away from Metropolitan Grill to those who enjoy steaks, but we had dessert after dinner and breakfast in the hotel the following morning and both were served with friendly service. Now it’s hard not to compare this property to their flagship Lotte Tower in Seoul, but this visit was greatly enhanced by the Lexus convertible reserved for our afternoon. What a beautiful way to explore Seattle! And their team here could not have executed this service more effortlessly. Truly well done! Overall, the Lotte Seattle team should be proud of having a welcoming team. We have traveled around the world and have stayed in many properties and are hard to impress, but this stay made us want to come back. When in Seattle, this is a property worthy of consideration.

For the price point and the 5-star reputation this hotel carries, I expected a great deal more — and unfortunately, it fell short in almost every category that matters. Room & Linens: The guest room itself was acceptable, but the towels were shockingly thin and stained — the kind of quality you’d expect at a 2-star roadside motel, not a luxury property. Bring your own towel. Breakfast Credit if you use Amex platinum. Wasted Due to Poor Communication: Our guest services contact, Georgi, never mentioned the Easter brunch on Sunday, so we had no idea we had to get there before 10 am. As a result, we were unable to use our breakfast credit — money left on the table simply because staff failed to communicate what was available to us. Completely avoidable and very disappointing. Transportation Fiasco: This was the most frustrating part of our stay. On Sunday around 3pm, we arranged a ride to the train station at 4pm with a driver named Rusty. When we arrived at 4pm ready to go, Rusty had already left for the day. No one on staff could get us to the station. The 16th floor guest services team was completely in the dark — no backup plan, no accountability, no solution. If you offer an in-house car service, you must have a driver on standby. This is not a nice-to-have; it’s a basic operational requirement. Bottom Line: Poor linens, a communication breakdown that cost us our breakfast credit, and a transportation failure that left us stranded — none of this belongs in a 5-star experience. The staff appeared undertrained and disconnected from one another. I would not recommend this hotel at its current price point until serious improvements are made to staff coordination and guest service standards.

Loved the room. The bar upstairs is fantastic. The server offered lots of advice about drinks, even bringing a bottle of bourbon to the table so my husband could have a sip. He recommended the carrot cake which we had twice - once on both nights. We ordered room service both mornings and it was prompt and deliverers by such kind servers. It makes such a big deal to have people who go above and beyond. We chose the hotel through Amex travel and will definitely stay at the hotel again. Thanks for making the stay fantastic.

We stayed in a Superior Bay View which was quiet and comfortable, and lived up to its name with views of the bay, though be aware there are buildings in this view so it is not a clear view. The decor is by Phillippe Stark intended to reflect nature, though is very colourful so might not be to everyone's tastes. The drop in star is due to a couple of reasons: The bed was due to be changed every other day but was changed once during our week's stay (on our final night). The sauna was lukewarm at best, though the spa unstaffed so no way to sort. Parking is USD 70 per night, though there is a place around the corner which is USD 10 per night which the hotel itself recommended. Would we stay there again? We would probably stay at another hotel in Seattle, but wouldn't have any issues with staying at The Lotte.
