It is located a 2 minute walk from Pike Place Market. Restaurants nearby. Delicious coffee offered complimentary in the reception area. Friendly and helpful staff. Small, but lovely room with a view. It was clean and comfortable. We slept well at your hotel. The bathroom had wonderful toiletries and the water pressure in the shower was great. Comfortable terrace on the 8th floor.

Stayed at the State Hotel many times. It is in a great location right in the heart of Pike's Place Market. Walked to the market, Post Alley, Climate Pledge; Bainbridge ferry, etc. The rooms are small but perfect for us. The views from the room and roof top deck are amazing. Will return!

We absolutely love the The State Hotel! The location is unbeatable - right in the heart of everything with incredible walkability. We’ve stayed here a few times now, and it’s quickly become our go-to hotel whenever we’re in Seattle. The rooms are consistently clean, the staff is warm and welcoming, and the property feels safe and secure, something we really value when staying downtown. We especially love the thoughtful amenities, like the Peloton bikes in the gym and the guest-only rooftop, which is perfect for enjoying takeout from nearby Pike Place Market. Little touches go a long way here: water stations to refill your water bottle and genuinely good coffee in the lobby, and the convenience of early check-in (available for a fee), which we’ve taken advantage of and really appreciated. And don’t miss dining at Ben Paris - it’s excellent. We’re already looking forward to our next stay!

Great location and great staff. We had a great view of the Market and it was so close to light rail stations and anything we wanted to do. The rooms were very clean and everyone was great. Rooms are small but that's what you expect in a downtown hotel and I with the bar stayed open a little later but minor issues.

An excellent location close to Pikes Place and all the activities near the waterfront. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The restaurant was an added bonus we enjoyed multiple times.
