Great place for travel
It is a nice hotel with a gorgeous rooftop bar. Just across the street from pike place it was a perfect location for solo travel.

Too expensive for what it is
Thompson was not what I expected at all for almost $500 per night rooms were small, no drawers to use for underwater or socks, Aircondition was wall mount with noise, lobby was small and the ice machine was a freezer with bags of ice! but staff tried to be helpful at times. For the amount of money spent I would not recommend this hotel. The only advantage was the location at Pike market

Excellent hotel!!
5 star experience at the Thompson Seattle! Everyone on the staff that we encountered were friendly and extremely accommodating. The location is excellent. It’s within walking distance to Pikes Market, Target and lots of local restaurants. They assisted us in making travel arrangements to the cruise port as well. We only stayed one night before our Alaska cruise, but I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again any time I go to Seattle.

I have traveled for 36 years across the United States, Caribbean, and Middle East staying with Hyatt. In my memory, there are only two hotels that hit this level of extraordinary service, quality, and value: here and the Park Hyatt Dubai. Big shout out to the restaurant team: Mathew, Julia, Bella, Rakea. Oscar S, Oscar P, & Liliana; as well as Albir at the Front Desk. If you are in Seattle for weekend brunch, get the biscuits and gravy!!! Nothing like it

Disappointed
Pro: Good location and friendly front desk. Program with Chase Sapphire. Cons: Room was smaller than expected and no dining area was open for lunch. Also unreliable- I unfortunately left a jacket hanging in the room closet at checkout. When I asked to retrieve it later that evening was told it couldn’t be found. Asked a few days later to double check and was told the same thing. Was not offered any resolution beyond opening a “lost and found” ticket.
