About the Hotel

Six Senses Zil Pasyon is located in the archipelago of Seychelles on private island of Félicité, it is accessible via boat transfer from La Digue or Praslin. It offers a haven of perpetual summer, uncontaminated, pristine beaches, dotted with granite rocks, that create a picture-perfect landscape.Three residence resort and 30 villa occupy one third of the total island and has been brilliantly designed to embrace the surrounding landscape in one of the most advanced sustainability effort to preserve the beauty of the island. “A Stunning Resort with Room for Service Improvements

We recently stayed at Six Senses Zil Pasyon for a ladies trip with two friends, and overall, the experience was memorable. The resort is absolutely stunning — the views, nature, and serenity are breathtaking. Our villa overlooked Coco Island, and we truly loved waking up to that beautiful scenery every day. The resort is very well designed, and the restaurants offer a lovely setting. However, I would like to share some feedback on the service, which unfortunately did not fully meet our expectations for a Six Senses property. We were first assigned a GEM (Guest Experience Manager) named Chantelle. Sadly, our experience with her was disappointing. She appeared quite young and lacked experience. Communication was often slow or nonexistent; we had to follow up several times for basic requests. When one of us raised our concerns, Chantelle’s attitude shifted, and she became distant, even avoiding us. This behavior was unprofessional and unacceptable for a luxury service role. For future guests, I would recommend requesting a different GEM if assigned to Chantelle. Fortunately, when we requested a change, we were taken care of by two wonderful team members: Sarah and Daniel. Although it was not Sarah’s role initially, she went above and beyond to assist us. She was proactive, responsive, and always made sure our needs were met. Daniel, was simply outstanding — very empathetic, attentive, and genuinely caring. Both Sarah and Daniel made a huge positive difference in our stay. We sincerely thank them for their efforts, professionalism, and kindness — even when we were not always the easiest guests. They are true assets to the resort. At the restaurant, we also had excellent service from Sandra, Kenneth (“KK”), Rolina, and Indica, who kindly took us for a sunset activity. Their attention and warm attitude made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Apologies if we forgot anyone — the entire restaurant team was truly wonderful. That said, we did face some challenges regarding the dining experience. One of my friends has strict dietary restrictions — she cannot eat raw food or cheese. Unfortunately, despite informing the staff in advance, we had to remind them several times throughout our stay, as this information was not always properly communicated between shifts or across the team. We would have greatly appreciated a more consistent coordination from the start to avoid repeating the same requests daily. There were a few technical issues during our stay. Our private pool had an unpleasant odor at one point, but Daniel promptly took action to resolve the issue, and we appreciate his quick intervention. The food overall was good, though the variety could be improved. The chefs were very attentive, and we had some lovely moments with them. We also enjoyed the barbecue experience, although it was quite expensive — future guests should be mindful of the pricing when booking extra experiences like this. As for activities, we loved the Alchemy Bar Lab where we created our own scrubs and creams — a fun and unique touch. My friend also enjoyed an excellent Hot Shell massage at the spa, and the breathing session with the yoga instructor was very special — she even took beautiful photos of my friend during the session, which was a lovely gesture. We arrived and departed by helicopter, which was an unforgettable experience, adding to the magic of the trip. In summary, this resort has amazing potential with its stunning location and incredible team members like Sarah, Daniel, and the restaurant staff. However, management may need to place more focus on consistent service standards, staff training, and internal communication. For a brand like Six Senses, guests should not have to insist on basic services being delivered or repeat requests. We hope that management recognizes the outstanding team members who truly shine and considers offering them more senior opportunities, as they are the ones making the real difference. Thank you again to the team for your hard work — we wish you all the best and hope to return someday!

A horrible experience!

Absolutely horrible service!My room was not even clean..Bathroom was a bit dirty..staff was lousy..to check in was very unpleasant..it was all over the place !i was denied the restaurant and amenities like the spa!The island is general was boring…Like i said staff was lousy and arrogant!What is going on???

Too much reliance on a pretty view and not enough on value

We really love the hard product here. The island and hotel itself are beautiful. We loved Andrew, the GM, and thought he was great. However the value, food and service falls short. We found our GEM to be unfriendly, borderline hostile, and really were unsure what the point of her was besides upselling. Other service members were hit or miss. One would be phenomenal, another would make a two course meal two hours. The food is very expensive and not so good. They also clearly believe they aren't charging enough because we had to inquire and send back a check to receive a happy hour discount and had to fight to have $2000 of false charges on our end of stay bill (make sure to check the line items thoroughly, they'll fight you on it and claim its "food"). Pretty disappointing overall. It's gorgeous, but so are a lot of places in the Seychelles. For the cost per night, you have a lot of options, and I implore others to explore those.

Unforgettable Stay Thanks to Exceptional Service

We had a fantastic stay at Six Senses Zil Pasyon, and what truly made it exceptional was the service we received from Sous Chef Maarouf and our waiter Rajan. Chef Maarouf went above and beyond every single day. He understood our preferences/dietary needs and made sure each meal felt tailored to us. Even when something wasn’t listed on the day's menu, he found a way to make it happen — always with care and attention to detail. What really stood out was how quickly and professionally he addressed any small issues that came up. He didn’t just make sure we were happy — he made sure we were beyond happy with both the food and the overall experience. Rajan was equally impressive. His service was consistently warm, attentive, and genuine. He made sure everything at the table ran smoothly, remembered our preferences, and always checked in with a smile. You could tell he truly cared about making our experience relaxed and enjoyable. The overall atmosphere was calm and welcoming, and both Maarouf and Rajan played a huge part in that. The management team, including Chantelle from the GEM team, was also responsive and helpful, ensuring everything during our stay ran smoothly. We left feeling incredibly well looked after — thanks to the entire team, especially Maarouf and Rajan. If you’re planning a visit, we highly recommend seeking them out — their level of care truly sets the experience apart.
