Situated at the famous Bund promenade and the unrivaled shopping area on Nanjing Road, it is the perfect place to explore Shanghai’s spectacular scenery and vibrant lifestyle. This landmark hotel has historically served as a glamorous playground for the elite, where every night was an extravagant gala event and veritable Parisian fashion show. Fairmont Peace Hotel continues to be a sought after venue for meetings, weddings and social events in the city.

Our stay at the Peace Hotel was out of this world. The staff were excellent and showed genuine commitment to service and customer support. They were helpful beyond belief and exhibited their commitment to customer service with a friendly and engaging manner. The property itself was unbelievable. It is known for its excellence and has a such an historic presence in the city since its beginning in 1929. The food was excellent, and accommodations were superior. The value for the price was excellent.

Took my parents here for my dad’s 75 years old birthday, as he has many memories about the hotel when he frequently traveled to Shanghai for work when he was young. The first we hit a small hiccup - though I upgraded them to a suite, the suite is on the second floor with city view. But the windows in the particular suite were not double layered, resulted in higher noise level, especially for elderly. They called the front desk, and manager on duty Terrance came to check the situation promptly, and helped them to move to another suite facing back road with better sound proofing. They were very happy and had a sound night of sleep. Everything was amazing since - guest experience manager Benny Tian found me first thing next morning to apologize for the trouble and arranged a series of nice activities for my parents: a birthday cake at the Jazz bar, a tour of the hotel’s museum, and a nice framed photo of my parents from the roof top of the building…His caring and genuineness are so rare nowadays in the service industry and I truly appreciate it. As of the hotel, it is not the latest or the fanciest in the city, but no other has the same history and sophistication. Staying at the Peace hotel is an experience and I highly recommend it.

Perfect location directly across the street from the Bund. We stayed in one of the Gold Executive Suites. Almost big enough to get lost in. This gave us additional access to the Gold lounge on the 9th floor for breakfast, afternoon tea, and then evening hors d'oeuvres. This was a very nice perk The breakfast buffet on the 9th floor worked out so well that we didn't feel the need to try the bigger buffet on the 1st floor. The room, food, and service were all first rate. The staff we dealt with were all top notch. A shout out to Eric and Nana for making our stay even more enjoyable. My only minor complaint was the weather. It was definitely on the warm side during our stay.

Excellent place to visit in Peace Hotel and the museum is fantastic place to get history of the hotel dated back to 1930s. Would definitely suggest all tourist to come to see this amazing hotel and museum! The tour guide Mr Robin is amazing! 🤩
