Checked into a room that smelled strongly of cigarette smoke . Asked them to move us and they moved us to a slower grade room where the blackout blinds didn’t fit . Asked to move again and this time they did move us to a beautiful room with a view where everything worked . Johnson on concierge was a great help booking train tickets taxis etc so full marks to him . Breakfast was average at best . For example the fruit juice was in sat in glasses on crushed ice which they refilled from cartons from under the display . Not freshly squeezed ! This is a top price 5 star …. Toaster worked so slowly actually the food was very average . Coffee delivered cold ( replaced hot ) individual little jam pots on the table were half full and sticky ( replaced ) and most of the staff spent most of the time on their mobiles and then started clearing the tables half an hour before end of service . Great location , impressive building but you can find better and probably pay less .

A really wonderful Hotel. Very good service, fantastic breakfast, top located with just a few steps to the metro or the bund. I had a room on the 12th floor with a spectacular view. Room service, clean, equipment, everything on a top standard.

We came here after reading stellar reviews on TA. Overall hardware is 5 stars but you can see aspects that are lacking . Air conditioning system makes the room too stuffy in the cold. So we had to open the windows to cool the room in autumn. The rooftop bar was abit dismal and rundown. Service staff were not really friendly nor polite. Doormen were all very grouchy and unfriendly, and that’s disappointing as these are literally the first representatives of the hotel that you meet. We went to Ritz Carlton for drinks and the service staff there were 100% better. Breakfast was a let down. Not five stars at all. Overall room was good, no complaints, you pay a premium and that’s the lease you can expect. But software is still 3 stars. Lots to improve.

WOW! We stayed two nights at the Wanda Reign on the Bund, and we were absolutely blown away with how amazing this hotel is. We have stayed at luxury properties all over the world, and the Wanda Reign stands above the rest. The elegant decor, the incredible breakfast, the gracious lobby, the attention to detail in the room and bathroom...they are all just top notch. And the service we received was always warm, inviting, professional, and so helpful from everyone we encountered, from the front desk to the servers in the breakfast room. The location is fantastic and the rooms will make you want to stay forever! We can't wait to return, and we would recommend this property to absolutely anyone looking for a luxurious and warm welcome in Shanghai.

Great hotel to stay for almost one week business travel to Shanghai. Spacious, clean, well equiped room with nice view of The Bund, the river and Shangai skyline. Breakfast offered a large variety of local and international food. Very friendly staff. I enjoyed my stay!
