Checked in room 1701 28th June 2025 for a two-night stay. Room is nice and spacious bed comfortable. Hotel staff had been kind enough to decorate the room and gave us a small cake as it’s our anniversary (see pics). Had dinner at the Chinese restaurant. Great food, excellent services. And yet…. I found a dead cockroach in my room this morning. Good thing I am notparticularly afraid of cockroaches and that it’s dead. But DEAD COCKROACH in a guest room?? How did that happen??

I and my colleagues had a wonderful stay in this hotel and everything was perfect. This is partly related to the our luxurious rooms, versatile and delicious breakfast items, room's cleanliness ,outside breathtaking views ,gym facilities and also its vicinity. But, the most important thing was the staff kind, professional and respectful behaviour. All the time, all members working at this hotel, with any rank from bottom to the top ,they wanted to make you sure we are quite well catered for in any aspect. They were really and truly friendly .I, myself was touched by this level of warm, sincerity and kindness. I became friend with staff and felt completely at home. to be honest it was hard to leave and say goodbye. Miss you all, particularly Jack, Austin, and Annie. Looking forward to meeting you again

Objectively speaking, this hotel lives up to the Ritz-Carlton brand in terms of luxury positioning, service, and room quality — everything meets the brand’s usual standards. However, from a culinary perspective, this is by far the worst Ritz-Carlton I’ve stayed at in the past two to three months. The club lounge food offering is so underwhelming, yet you still dare to charge for it? The breakfast in the lounge is even worse than what I’ve had at some Four Points by Sheraton properties (e.g., Hefei). Let’s be clear: your lounge access costs 699 RMB per day, which is enough to stay two nights at a Four Points in a smaller city in China. I filled out the Marriott survey truthfully. After checkout, the front office manager called to apologize — but honestly, an apology doesn’t help here. This isn’t a matter of saying sorry — it’s a reflection of how aggressively the hotel is cutting costs. Overall, if it weren’t for the Ritz-Carlton brand name, there are plenty of better options at the same price point, such as the newly opened St. Regis, Park Hyatt, or Andaz.
