Reviews for Anjali by Syphon

An oasis of comfort, quality, service and great food

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

We (two adults and two teenage kids) spent four wonderful nights at this hotel and enjoyed every minute of it. Stylish and perfectly equipped rooms, a terrific swimming pool, first class service by everyone working their, and a great restaurant - with a splendid breakfast buffet, and a rich and diverse menu for lunch or dinner. During the first two nights, we were disturbed by a nearby disco (or similar establishment), but this was not the fault of the hotel. It is true that the hotel is quite far away from the city center (and its day and night markets), but with a Tuktuk you are still getting there, for three dollars, with a 10-minute ride. Giving five stars to this hotel, on all possible accounts, is the unanimous decision of my whole family - with no dissenting views. ;-)

Very nice place. We stayed three nights in Siem reap at this beautiful hotel. Very nice design and decor but the best part is the service and the team. Breakfast is very nice as well as the bar and restaurant. Highly suggested and perfect for families.

Beautiful Inside and Out

Before choosing where to stay, I looked at every Siem Reap hotel’s photo gallery and Anjali by Syphon’s clever Ta Prohm-inspired ‘lush flora cavorts with modern design’ and attention to soul and detail was simply the best. Upon arrival, Anjali was even more calming, relaxing and magical like all the amazing staff. We were humbled by how kind Ton was and how he truly cared in making sure our four-night stay was perfect and it was. Hun also had a warm smile each morning as she makes she sure we enjoy our bountiful, delicious breakfast. We were mesmerized by our poolside chats with Annie. And I had the best massage at the spa with Nai. Everyone was remarkable. I was secretly hoping I wouldn’t like the food so much so I could lose weight on this vacation but l have never loved being wrong. Dinners at Mekhala restaurant really did drive the point home that they are hoteliers and are also gourmets. After check out, you know you had a spectacular time when you are compelled to give credit where it’s due, wish all the lovely Anjali by Syphon team continued success and say thank you.

An oasis of peace and tranquillity.

I spent four nights at Anjali, sharing a room with a disabled friend who is in a manual wheelchair. Anjali is a charming hôtel where you are made to feel at home straightaway. Really comfortable beds, beautiful surroundings, a lovely swimming pool, great breakfasts and friendly, helpful staff. I warmly recommend this hotel and wish we could have stayed longer. Some improvements ( grab bars in the shower and toilet, for example) need to be made however to assure safety for disabled guests.

One of my favorite places in SE Asia

The hotel is beautiful. They do an amazing job incorporating lush plant life into a well laid out hotel with super clean, modern interiors and a gorgeous pool and eating area. I was especially grateful to the staff. It was my birthday while we stayed there and they left the most stunning lotus bouquet for me in the room with a flower petal design on the bed, and gave me another bouquet at dinner. They truly go above and beyond to care for their guests.
