Stunningly beautiful resort, with perfectly executed over water villas, memorable albeit very expensive excursions (swimming with nurse sharks, racing with dolphins), great service and superb infrastructure. The over water villas are more than worth the price, we had sharks and sting rays visit our villa early in the mornings, the views are expansive, including from the bathrooms. Yeah it’s a bit of picture perfect cliche, but we appreciated the hard work and craftsmanship it takes to achieve this level of perfection. The service was brilliant, consistently friendly, very open to feedback, and authentic and warm. Manik, Ramu, and many others were outstanding. Only minor niggles - the food was average (other than Cumin and Aqua which are outstanding) , especially in buffet breakfast and lunch at the Fushi cafe and the Thai restaurant (very overrated). Lack of air conditioning in any restaurant meant we were often sweating in the humid weather. And the number of buggies to ferry guests was too less resulting in longish wait times But these are very minor complainants in an otherwise perfect vacation. We used the spa a lot and it was truly the most beautiful spa I have ever been to in my life. And such good masseurs, not just my wife and I but my 80-year old mom was delighted by the experience. The snorkelling with nurse sharks is truly special and not to be missed. I loved all the short and long boat rides, really added to the experience. The villa, the location, the beach were amazing. The spa was an incredible experience. The cleanliness and the kidness of all the stuff was amazing. We will come back definitely!

We visited this resort with our friends to celebrate our wedding anniversary and my husband’s birthday. The experience was wonderful! The resort really took our breath away. 1. The villa: We booked the Sunset over water villas and that was the best decision. They prepared a nice surprise in the villa when we checked in. The villas were kept spotless clean daily. Super spacious with the infinity pool overlooking the lagoon. Our host, Seda, was just the perfect companion during our stay. Anything we need, we just reached out to Seda :) thank you Seda for your hospitality. Also Thank you to housekeeping team who always made sure our room was spotless clean 2. The restaurants: they have several restaurants in Dhigu and we can also enjoy the restaurants in Anantara Veli next island. The perks of having sister resort nearby :) We voted Baan Hura Thai restaurant to be our fav place for dinner. Fresh, spicy and authentic Thai cuisine for our liking. The breakfast buffet has a lot of variety, including kids corner, vegan and Arabic corner. 3. The spa : probably one of the best Deep Tissue massage that I’ve ever had. Thank you so much Nopi for your professional and best massage! Her hands were magical, relaxed all my muscles tension in 90 mins. The facility also had sauna, steam and even cold plunge pool. 4. Watersports : you can rent snorkel and fins for free and use them for entire stay. Trust me, you will always want to jump to the water! The clearest and bluest water I’ve ever seen. The Aquafanatics center has full menu of watersports. Albeit on the steep side, the jetski was super fun and machines were well maintained. I took the nurse shark snorkeling on the day before we left. What an incredible experience, swimming so close with them along with manta ray! If you could only have 1 activity , highly recommend this one! Overall, incredible stay in Anantara Dhigu. Thank you for this memorable anniversary and birthday!

Highly recommend this property! Large & luxurious accommodation with many restaurants to choose from. Property sits in a beautiful lagoon. Activities were great, staff exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return one day!
