Sun-filled terraces, sandy beach, brimming swimming pool, like gifts from the moment of early dawn until the final hours of the night, to the guests of the Royal-Riviera. A cocktail of Art Deco and Neo-Hellenic influences from the immense lounge, which overlooks the Mediterranean garden redesigned by Jean Mus and the immense blue of the Mediterranean Sea. A harmony of the colours of the South of France, morning sunlight, balcony overlooking the sea and attention to detail; everything has been thought of in order to make each and every stay a wonderful memory, leaving you with a burning desire to return. With the omnipresence of the southern gardens and views of the sea, reading a book, drinking tea in the heart of the magnificent garden, everything becomes different, more calm, more beautiful than anywhere else.

Excellent hotel and the best location. Restaurants were top notch, with variety and choices. I believe one of the best things about this hotel is its phenomenal staff across every department at the hotel. My group was particularly impressed with the front desk reception area and the hotel Concierge department. Both concierge staff that we interacted with were detail oriented and truly cared that we had a wonderful experience on our visit to Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. Xavier made calls to our tour guide, printed our schedules, suggested restaurants, made reservations and check on us, making us feel like we were the only guests in the hotel. We saw he and the other concierge very kind concierge (cannot recall his name) treating each guest with the same dedication & respect! I have personally never had a hotel concierge staff that was so dedicsted to making sure that each guest had a premium visit!

I stayed at this hotel for four nights at the end of my French Riviera trip. It was a fantastic experience; the room was comfortable and quiet, even being right next to the elevator. The pool was amazing - perfect temperature, clean water, and relatively quiet (save for one guest on my last day, Sunita, who spent ages bragging about the private boat tour she was booking - if I had to hear about "Rob's credit card" one more time I would have pushed her in). The private beach was less perfect - water is rather dirty and it's directly next to a watersports business, which means you are rather close to boats and jet skis. Staff was friendly, professional, and helpful. Included breakfast was delicious. Overall, this place is pricey but worthwhile if you are looking for an upscale quiet hotel in the area. The location is prime - walking distance to plenty of lovely restaurants in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, and not as touristy as Nice proper.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful in all of the common spaces. The lobby; the pool, the beach, etc. but they are lacking in the rooms. They are quite dated, the hair drier in the room looks like it is from the 90s and attached to the wall and there is no electrical plug in the bathroom. There is a small plug ON the hairdryer that doesn’t fit a converter so I had to use my own hair appliances in the bedroom. The hot water faucet in the bathroom was leaky and I came into a small puddle each time I came back to the room. There is no full length mirror, the weird mirror tv doesn’t count. The plug next to the bed also doesn’t work. I checked to see if there was a switch that needs to be on for it to work but no avail. My cords work in all other plugs in the room but it would have been nice to have one next to my bed. They say that all beverages in the mini fridge will be restocked daily but they didn’t do it for 2 days and I had to ask multiple times and wait for them to bring more water to the room. The gym is also small and very stuffy. The sauna has wires hanging out of the wall and no posted instructions on how to turn it on. The steam room is fine but again dated. I worked out each morning and it just wasn’t that nice. They also had some mood lighting on the wall behind the bed but no instructions on how to turn them off. There was a small remote in a drawer that I had to call the front desk to ask about how to turn them off at night. The beach is nice as can be for a rocky beach, but it had a lot of trash washed up on the beach, on my way into the water I stepped in a bottle cap and used straw and had to dodge floating styrofoam chunks, not quite the relaxing atmosphere I was looking for there. They did have a trash boat that was collecting the trash while we were there (I guess a pro and a con? lol) The hotel breakfast was lovely, there is a big bowl of fresh strawberries every morning that was the star of the breakfast and a fresh egg station where you could get omelets. Overall the location is nice, and luckily we didn’t spend too much time in the room but wish it was a little better experience on the room was nicer. I didn’t address these items other than the minibar with the hotel while I was there because that’s not how I wanted to spend my vacation, these should have all been addressed before I got there and are not part of a 5 star experience.

Absolutely beautiful hotel in Côte D’Azur. We stayed in Hotel Royal Riviera for two nights and I wish we had stayed for longer! Alex, front desk, and Luc, concierge, both went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. Our room had a pool and sea view which we really enjoyed. Cleanliness was excellent, the complimentary beach bags are adorable. The beach is steps away from the hotel. You walk on a public path and are adjacent to the public beach. The beaches in this area were all packed with people. This beach was relatively quiet and the swimming was wonderful. I have read reviews which criticized the slow poolside service. The pool does seem underserved, with one staff member, but this is the standard in France, the staff all worked hard and was attentive and courteous. We did not sample the restaurants but had drinks and fruit at the pool. Thoroughly enjoyed.

I was really pleased with this booking my PA made. First class hotel in almost all aspects. Room was nice and spacious, great views, lovely bathroom, quality mattress, modern and classy. Service was impeccable both in restaurant, on their private beach and for room service. Location was great too. Food was delicious and fresh. Gym could have been larger, that was honestly my only criticism.
