The Royal Sonesta Chase Park Plaza St. Louis

We had friends visit from NYC for OTSL opera DON PASQUALE . We suggested that they stay at the Royal Sonesta Chase Park Plaza. Unfortunately st louis was in the midst of a heat wave and the cooling system was not keeping up . There room was in the 80s after a day of travel which was very uncomfortable. Gage Barnett at the front desk made certain they were moved to a cool room and provided a monetary discount at check out for having to move to another room after becoming settled. Our guests were ever so pleased and we will continue to steer friends and family to the Royal Sonesta when they visit us in St Louis. Gage Barnett is an exemplary employee who understands hospitality and client needs and finds solutions, we are grateful!

My fiancé and I keep coming back to The Chase Park Plaza because every visit is just that good. We usually stop by for brunch or spend time by the pool, and the service is always top-notch. We’ve gotten to know a few of the staff by name—Brandalyn, Gavin, Sacca, and Demetrius—because they’re genuinely that memorable. They always go out of their way to make sure we’re taken care of. And of course, Ms. B is a favorite—seeing her is something we always look forward to. I also want to shout out Amy Ruffner and Matthew White, who clearly lead a great team. You can tell the staff enjoy what they do, and it really shows in how guests are treated. We’ve stayed at other well-known hotels in St. Louis, but honestly, the vibe at The Chase is unmatched. It’s comfortable, classy, and just feels good to be there. Already looking forward to our next visit.

We stayed here when we visited our son who lives in CWE. We had never stayed in a Sonesta before. When I checked in I was given a free upgrade to a suite. It was huge!! It had a full kitchen but no plates, utensils or silverware. Large living room, dining room, etc. The hotel has a lot of amenities including 3 restaurants. We had breakfast at one and drinks at night. I think there were about 3 weddings and things got crazy in the bar on Saturday night but we had fun anyway. We loved hanging out by the pool one afternoon but there was only one person taking orders for drinks and food on a very busy weekend. We enjoyed the city feel and old, historic building. We will stay here next time we visit.

Had a one night getaway with my wife at the the Chase Park plaza hotel. What a fabulous hotel with all the history in a great location. The suite was not over the top but classy not overstated style. The rooms were clean and well taken care of. The people were very nice and helpful. We had happy hour drinks ( on a saturday! ) in one of the three restaurants ( The Preston ) they have on site. It was a very classy appointed restaurant. After some cocktails we walked about 2 minutes down the street to Edera for some Italian food. The dinner was wonderful! Then went back to the hotel to catch a movie at the movie theater in the hotel! To cap the night off we had some ice cream at Clemetine's about a block away. So many things to do so close by it was wonderful we could walk to everything and people were so friendly. This hotel was amazing!

The Chase Park Plaza in Saint Louis is a must stay! This place is amazing with a great location and the staff could not be more helpful. I had the pleasure of working with Caitlyn Crimi whose customer service is terrific. She takes a genuine interest in your specific requests, is friendly, caring and professional. Great job Caitlyn!
