The Royal Sonesta Chase Park Plaza St. Louis

I stayed for 2 nights over Labor Day weekend for work and my husband joined me. Caitlyn went out of her way to accommodate us, she recognized me and greeted me with warmth and perfect hospitality. This property is beautiful and has all kinds of activities and restaurants in walking distance. We would love to visit again.

Very little sleep! Great pool, friendly staff, nice food, comfy beds. Have hardly slept due to construction works that start at 0630am each morning across road, loud a/c and noises from plumbing. Was not told about construction at time of booking. Avoid at moment until construction finished.

Stayed here for my daughter’s wedding at The Jewel Box. The location of the hotel was perfect. The Bellman Aaron was OUTSTANDING!!! The Valet were also excellent. My biggest disappointment was when I checked in on Wednesday they didn’t have me in the same room. I was going to be staying in until Sunday. As the mother of the bride, I was providing breakfast from 10 bridesmaids so with that being said, I had a ton of items I was bringing, not at all convenient to switch rooms. When I had called to add the extra day, the person on the other end said well we were going to keep you in the same room for your entire stay, which only made sense. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get the same rate, but when I came to check in on that Wednesday. They looked at me like I was speaking a different language, speaking of language, when I did call to book a room, it was kind of Difficult to understand the person on the other end. My other disappointment was the pool. I had taken my grandkids down to the pool on Saturday afternoon. There was so much stuff floating in the pool. It was alarming. Aaron thank you for all your help. Caren thank you for your kindness. Gage thank you for your patience.

My husband and I spent two wonderful nights here after dropping our son off at college. Our suite was lovely and huge. We enjoyed the traditional, classic decor. We were not expecting to have a kitchen and separate dining area and that was a great bonus. The pool is amazing. We also enjoyed the movie theater on site. We had two separate meals here. First night at the Preston, could have been better. They were out of several items on the menu (which is already limited) due to a 'large event'. We settled for other entrees we weren't planning on. It was fine, but the food wasn't great. The second night we took our son and a couple of his friends to the Chase Club for dinner. The service was great here and we enjoyed the food. We also appreciated the grocery store a block away and the proximity to Forest Park for walks in the morning. A highlight was relaxing by the beautiful pool after a long road trip from Boston. There is construction going on across the street, so other travelers should be aware of that. Sunday was peaceful but Monday was a bit loud. Also, the pool side service was lacking at times. They had forgotten my husband's beer not once, but three times. When I finally spoke up about it, they were apologetic and attentive after that. Overall, a great stay and would definitely return.

The Chase is the place. Our stay was spectacular. There is no hotel anywhere that can match this. It takes you back in history. The staff and service were spectacular. Thank you for a great stay.
