Excellent stay
Hotel is beautiful, rooms are outstanding, a very friendly helpful staff. Brunch was excellent. Parking was pricy. We did not know ahead of time that it would be $40.00/day. We needed our car numerous times during the four days and tipped the valet each time.

Five stars aren't enough!
Beautifully appointed rooms, attentive and professional staff, and a less than 5 minute walk to the Excel / Grand Casino Arena. Appreciated the 24hr valet service, the luxurious decor, and the food (and cocktails!) in the restaurants was superb. It was all perfect, and we look forward to staying with you again!

Great experience!
Location was excellent - just walked about 3 minutes to the arena for the concert. Nice bar/restaurant next to arena as well. Room is large for a older hotel and the fitness center was well equipped!

Dozens of stays at The St. Paul and never had anything but the best service and the most attentive staff. The food is always great and the location makes all of downtown St. Paul walkable.

Nice hotel with great location for the Ordway
We stayed at the Saint Paul Hotel in order to attend an opening night of the opera. It was directly across the street from the Ordway, so it was super convenient to attend the opera. It was a nice hotel and we had a wonderful meal at the Grille downstairs.
