Good times!
The four of us had a great time! We have an 8 and 10 year old boy. We loved the 9 hole golf course. We played two mornings in a row. Guy at the pro shop was very helpful and kind. The only bummer was my 8 year old couldn’t do any of the ropes activities. He didn’t weigh enough and he wasn’t tall enough. The wait staff was very friendly. My boys had fun after dinner playing football with other kids in the big yard outside the dining areas. We are from Arizona and I believe we will be back one day!

Great location for a mountain get-away with a spa
The facilities are clean and well-kept. My room looked like it was recently remodeled, or they do an amazing job keeping everything looking so fresh and new. I had a beautiful mountain view from my room. There are saunas both indoors and outdoors, they all were very relaxing. I did not use the lap pool, but it looked well-maintained. I had a facial at the spa and was pleased with the results. There are several walking trails on the property and also zip-lining. The food in the Cascade Room was not great during lunch. Our salad was wilted and the steelhead tacos tasted a bit "fishy". Our dinner experience was much better. The risotto with mushrooms, peas, and asparagus was delicious and so was the steak! Desserts were great as well. There is a cafe but it doe not open until 2pm and has basically the same menu as the Dining room. If I come again, I will research near-by restaurants just so I have other options.

We came away totally satisfied with our stay. It exceeded our expectations! Everything from a clean room, great coffee, beautiful views, and fantastic food was pure pleasure!

Afternoon at Skamania Lodge
The view was spectacular, the food a huge disappointment, even the fries were cold. The fare was basic, not flavorful and out-priced for what we ordered.
