This is a beautiful location, but unfortunately the experience did not match the price point. The rooms were not ready at the scheduled check-in time, and we ended up waiting over an hour before being able to access them. For a property charging premium rates, that was disappointing from the start. The spa was by far the worst part of the trip, and I would strongly recommend avoiding spa services here. A 90-minute massage costs around $280, yet the experience felt rushed and unprofessional. The staff overall came across as mediocre and inattentive, especially considering the luxury pricing throughout the resort. The scenery and location are stunning, but the service and value simply do not justify the cost.

It was nice celebrating our anniversary with a comfortable stay with great views. The card maker was down so we had to be escorted into our room at check in, but they had a card waiting for us when we returned from our outing. The outdoor hot tub was relaxing but did not have a lot of seating and was very popular. Several jets were not working and others were forcefully spraying out of the tub. Dessert was complimentary for our anniversary but we could not order it at 9pm when we returned from our outing. Luckily they let us order it to go in the morning, but only had one choice. It was disappointing because we skipped dessert at the restaurant to come back hotel to get the desserts we had decided on. Then we were surprised at check out that we were charged resort fee and parking above what we already paid for the room. They did not tell us this at check in, just told us they needed a card for incidentals.

I was here for 3 nights and had a really good stay. I was there for a conference. I made use of the pool area. This included an indoor pool and whirlpool. There was also an outdoor whirlpool. There was also a sauna and whirlpool in the locker room. It is not very close to town. So, you are likely to eat in the restaurant.

It is a very nice facility. Huge potential. The rustic look and the stonework fits well in the common areas. However, the facilities carpet smells and the stairways to get to and from the lobby need some freshening up. The finishes are looking dated. The restaurants and bar and outdoor areas are excellent. The outdoor hot tub needs work as well. The concrete joints all need to be repacked and the jets should definitely be replaced. The staff are amazing, the service is exemplary but you guys really need to invest some money into a renovation and bring the finishes up to date. The fitness center will work for 90% of people. Its a bit small and needs less cardio equipment and heavier dumbbells. A squat rack wouldn't hurt either. Not sure if its routine to have rooms inspected but it is horrible when your bathroom fan is broken and doesn't work.

You can't find a better place to stay in the Gorge. A truly spectacular setting and grounds. The views are hard to believe. Sunset and sunrise are especially wonderful. The staff is superb, totally committed to your care.
