Ajwa Hotel Sultanahmet

We visit this beautiful 5-star hotel in Istanbul every year, and it never disappoints. It has truly become one of our favourite places to stay. From the moment you step into the lobby, the hotel’s signature scent creates such a luxurious and welcoming atmosphere. The attention to detail throughout the hotel is exceptional. The rooms are stunning, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable, making every stay feel special. The food is always outstanding, with so much variety and consistently high quality, and the spa facilities are amazing, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. What makes this hotel truly unforgettable is the people. The staff are genuinely kind, attentive, and make every guest feel valued. Over the years we have even stayed in touch, which really shows how special the hospitality is. A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful manager mr Turk , Hasan and everyone for always making our visits so memorable. We already cannot wait for our next trip back to Istanbul and another stay here.

This is a beautiful hotel, with lots of attentive helpful staff. Reception, concierge and bell captain were very helpful. Rooms are a good size bearing in mind the central location. The big attractions like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar and Spice Bazaar are within easy reach. The hotel provide a shuttle service to these, which helps as the area is very hilly just like most of Istanbul. The breakfast was very good with huge choice with varied egg dishes cooked to order in addition to the extensive buffet. Staff were super friendly and attentive. The hotel does not serve alcohol but that did not effect us as plenty of nearby restaurants did. The daily complementary water also helps. T 1 tram station is 10 mins away so you can get to other areas quickly and cheaply.

Absolutely amazing hotel, a true 5 star hotel where even the small details are impressive. Can highly recommend. The rooms are beautifull in all details and the breakfast buffet is delicious. The restaurant and roomservice had very tasty and interesting food - both international food for the picky eater and more local dishes with great flavors. The staff is very nice and helpfull. All in all this hotel is the reason we had a great trip to Istanbul despite a very rainfull couple of days

From start finish amazing experience! The bell captain and his team take care of you throughout -attentive to every need including seamless airport transfers. Great restaurant and staff A plus. Room was beautiful and views spectacular. But again- can’t say enough about the great staff.
