O hotel é especial em tudo, desde o quarto aos restaurantes, a comida, a limpeza, a conexão com a natureza e a beleza única ! Nem tenho palavras para as pessoas ! Todo o staff é de uma bondade, eficiência , fazem nos sentir em família ! O Marthen, o Raju, a Paula, o Daniel , não consigo descrever nem ha palavras para a magia que fazem ! A diretora geral, Sabine , SUPER ! Não sei como posso agradecer a todos tudo o que vivemos e sentimos neste sitio mágico !! Toda a gente devia conseguir conhecer ! The edge of wildness para mim seria mais “the edge of magic”. Este pequeno paraíso vale tudo !!

We were privileged to have the chance to discover this magical property where discovery, tranquility, sparkling shores, wild horses, safe beach, extreme perfection of services, are only few words to express the unique experience that NIHI SUMBA is providing. As travellers with more than 10Y of discoveries, this one MUST BE visited - trust me ! Merci to the whole staff, deeply inspired by the passionate General Manager Sabine and the dedication of the team, especially F&B and guests captain Marthen and Raju. MERCI !

Everything about it is magical. Beautiful beach with so much space to roam for horses and humans. Equine program is incredible - we rode to the spa safari, rode on the beach, swam with the horses, did yoga with/on them, and even did a meditation/reiki session with the horses. Just watching them hang out and walk to/from their grazing area is so relaxing and lovely. We also visited a waterfall, visited a village, and “helped” release hatchling sea turtles. The planned special dinners were fun and the regular restaurants are excellent. We paddle boarded, did group yoga class, and played pickleball. The spa safari experience was out of this world. Special thanks to Marthen and Raju our kaptens - we miss you already! I have had “butler” service before at resorts but nothing like this. They are so warm and welcoming and excellent at their job. Sumba isn’t easy to get to , but that’s part of its charm. You have to really want to be there. I dreamed of this trip for years and it exceeded my sky high expectations. If you don’t get goosebumps learning about Nihi, then skip it for a more convenient resort. But if it speaks to you like it did to me, just book it and be ready for magic.

We spent 4 days at NIHI as part of our honeymoon and we wish we could have stayed for much longer! We fit plenty in to our time there - surfing, spa treatments, and great food were highlights- but look forward to coming back to do everything else they have to offer. Our villa was incredible and Marthen and Raju truly made our stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.
