Crown Towers Sydney

Here’s why I would never stay at Crown Sydney again — and I say this as someone who loves a good hotel experience. First, check-in? A mess. The line was so long, barely anyone was smiling, and only three people were at reception. Not the welcome I expected at all. Second, yes — the room was spacious, and I did love the little area to unpack. But I upgraded for a Harbour view, and honestly? I’ve stayed at places in Sydney half the price with a better view. Third, the bed… was not it. Super uncomfortable, and the pillows gave me a stiff neck. I have scoliosis, so sleeping well is non-negotiable — and this just didn’t cut it. Fourth, the service was slow. It took 45 minutes to get my bags to the room, which left me barely an hour to get ready for an event. Calling for service also took a few calls. And lastly, the valet. I paid for it — but the guy looked so annoyed to even be there. Took 20 minutes to get my car, even though I called half an hour before check-out. For a hotel that markets luxury, the vibe, the service, and the comfort just weren’t there for me. Definitely not worth the price.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help with a smile. My room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed. I truly felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout my stay. I would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We stayed here as a family of 4 for one evening prior to relocating interstate. We booked a double room which had views of the bridge, opera house and harbour. The room was spacious enough for us with 2 young children and the complimentary crib came with baby toiletries and a souvenir bear for the little one. The bidet was a hit (also novelty for the toddler). My husband tried his luck at the in house casino but it definitely has a different feel to a regular casino. He didn't stay long but thought to experience it since they only allow hotel guests or interstate guests (non hotel residents) to enter. We enjoyed a light lunch at the bar downstairs, dinner at the Asian restaurant and buffet breakfast on site the next morning. The buffet breakfast was definitely a highlight for my toddler! Unfortunately, we didn't have time to utilise the spa or valet as our car was already being transported interstate but I'm sure the service would have been spectacular.

Stayed for 3 nights over a long weekend public holiday and with Vivid on, in an Executive Harbour Bridge Suite. ‘Frustrating’ Negatives :– 1. 3pm Sunday night check-in was a mess with long lines and room not ready until 4.30pm. 2. Hotel staff do their jobs, but there is no personalised interaction, effort, or service. 3. Hotel is very busy with non-guests on a weekend in the restaurants and bars. 4. Room cleaning not completed till 5pm on the Monday (public holiday). Positives: 1. Great room with amazing views. 2. Best hotel shower I have ever been in. 3. Excellent room service 4. Great pool and gym. 5. Great location in CBD. 6. Casino was comfortable even during peak times. Frustratingly, this should be the best hotel in Sydney, if they can tweak the negatives and focus as much on hotel guests as they do on casino patrons and non-guests, then it will be worth the cost.

We arrived early on a Sunday morning where we experienced attentive door staff that whisked us away to the front desk where we were promptly greeted and checked in. Our room was amazing! So spacious and we were delighted to have a floor to ceiling view of the iconic Harbor Bridge AND Opera House. As this was the first time we stayed the Crown brand, we weren't sure what to expect. We were delighted to find a resort like hotel that rivals anything we've stayed at in Las Vegas and Macau. The rooms alone standout as some of the most luxurious we've experienced. Looking at reviews, there are many comments about the level of service. For the most part, the level of service is consistent with what we've experienced across Sydney. While it's not up to international standards, it appears to be reflective of the luxury market in Sydney. Enjoy this hotel while also managing expectations. There is a casino here if you look for it. Unlike most casino hotels, this property keeps the casino in a discreet location. You can stay here for a week like us and never actually visit the casino. With 14 restaurants and bars you don't need to venture out, but if you do, Darling Harbour is just a few steps away. This was a great experience and I'll certainly be back as well as recommending this property to everyone I know.
