Crown Towers Sydney

The worst “five star” experience in the world. I’ve travelled to Singapore, Hong Kong, London, Tokyo, Dubai, New York and countless other cities with five star hotels… and this is by far the most pathetic example of a five star hotel. The cleanliness is disgusting. The floors in my Harbour Bridge Suite were appalling. The technology in the room glitched every few mins. The temperature on the iPad and wall unit changed. The 24 hr concierge was non existent. The decor was at best a Finbar apartment style. The nightly turndown service doesn’t exist. The in room dining options resemble something you’d expect from Meriton Suites. It’s just so thoroughly disgusting. You’d only stay here if you’re laundering cash through level 2. The end.

The epitome of luxury. Hi tech opulent rooms, all day buffets offering an extensive international banquet of high quality. The solicitous caring staff were supportive and comforting. It is my dream to return.

Well what a luxurious experience! First time staying at Crown Towers Syd and it definitely won’t be the last, truly spoiled! I booked a 1 bedroom Villa and upon arrival we were very surprised to find we had been upgraded to a 2 bedroom Crystal Villa simply spectacular! The service from all the staff was outstanding, housekeeping were brilliant, the butlers all wonderful, Rudy, Sheike, Raymond and the amazing Katherine all made our stay a wonderful experience nothing was too much trouble. The Villas was spectacular and so luxurious, I have stayed in many 5 star Hotels around the world and it takes a lot to impress me, this definitely did! Do yourself a favour and if possible book a Villa you won’t be disappointed. Already looking at booking a couple more return trips! Thanks to all at Crown Towers Syd!

Stayed for two nights in a suite at Crown Sydney and was left seriously underwhelmed. While the room was tidy at a glance, it was far from clean—there were visible bodily fluid stains on the couches and windows, which is completely unacceptable at this price point. Basic amenities were shockingly absent: no liquid hand soap in either the kitchen or bathroom, and the bath had no shampoo, conditioner, or moisturiser. The kitchen was also poorly stocked with no plates or cutlery provided. These are basics I’d expect at even a mid-range hotel, let alone a supposed luxury property. Room service was another letdown. I received a cold coffee that tasted like watered-down milk—not remotely drinkable. On a positive note, the pool area was lovely and the pool staff were attentive and friendly, but even that wasn’t enough to redeem the stay. Dining at Nobu and Cirq was excellent, but fortunately, you don’t have to stay at Crown to enjoy those venues. All in all, I won’t be returning and cannot recommend Crown Sydney to others. Both the W and Sofitel offer a much higher standard of service and cleanliness.

We have just finished 3 days at this hotel. I must say it’s been one of our worst experiences. The staff at checkin were inexperienced and seriously slow. The security guards were rude. The ice bergs bar was awful. The staff were rude and service was non existent. There’s a lot of better places to stay in Sydney
