Stayed for a friend's wedding. The room was beautiful with a nice view. Jean front office was lovely and helped us with our stay and choosing restaurants. We had a lovely time.

A little late as I stayed two months ago but now getting around to writing about the truly bizarre experience that was Crown Towers Sydney. I’m still not sure I’d stay again, because this hotel was both disingenuous in its advertising and death by a thousand cuts in its average service offering against the premium price tag. I stayed for two nights to celebrate a milestone birthday for my mother, travelling from interstate specifically for the trip. The trip was planned months in advance. I paid more for a twin room with what was supposed to be a harbour view, as opposed to rooms with just a city view. Even with a 20% sale discount, this was still almost $750 a night. I was absolutely horrified when we checked in to find a room overlooking a filthy construction site, with obstructed views of the bridge. It was NOTHING like to advertised photos. Garbage bags flapping in the breeze, mud puddles and a huge dusty hole in the middle of Barangaroo. It was utterly awful, and I was devastated. This resulted in several phone calls to reception (the first two of which rang out), and a hasty visit from the front office manager to try and allay my concerns. I’d never felt so ripped off by a hotel an I honestly wanted to leave. We were offered an alternative room on the 24th floor with a view of the bridge and opera house, which I accepted only because I couldn’t be bothered switching hotels on no notice. It was much nicer, and mum was happy and that was the main thing. The front office manager tried to smooth things over by offering a complimentary breakfast and a few gifts sent to the room, but I was so irked by the completely disingenuous advertising and the horrible first room it cast a shadow over the entire stay for me personally. The stay itself was otherwise fine, and the staff at Epicurean are always lovely. The service at check in a check out left a lot to be desired though - a pretty average bunch on reception all of them, and outwardly more friendly towards overseas guests - and concierge were pretty abrupt too. The queue to check in and check out is stupidly long at peak time and I must have waited at least 20 minutes both times. I found the whole service experience at Crown Towers a bit soulless, a bit like the hotel itself. Glamorous, yes, but not the least bit welcoming. I can’t say it really wowed me for the price, and the initial poor experience. Crown has absolutely no business charging a premium for those abominable Harbour View rooms and I strongly recommend anyone considering staying not to select one - choose an Opera View on a high floor and spare yourself the eyesore. Honestly though, there’s luxury hotels in Sydney with a far better level of service for less money and I’d probably go to one of those than choosing Crown Towers again.

Extremely Disappointing Stay – Poor Cleanliness, No Follow-Up, Undisclosed Construction Noise I am very disappointed with my recent stay at Crown Sydney. This stay was meant to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday, which was clearly noted prior to arrival, along with a request for some basic amenities in the room to acknowledge the occasion. Unfortunately, nothing was prepared, which was disappointing given it was a milestone celebration. More concerning was the condition of the room at check-in. The room was extremely dirty and clearly not properly cleaned. Issues included: • Dirty bathroom and toilet seat with visible iron-like stains • Rubbish left behind in the bin • Hair on the bathroom floor • Stains on the bed linen • Carpet stains that appeared to be blood or urine . Dust everywhere Photos were taken as evidence. I immediately called after check-in requesting someone to come and clean the room, however no one ever came, and the issue remained unresolved for the duration of our stay. We are checking out without the room ever being properly addressed. This was particularly frustrating as I had previously experienced a similar cleanliness issue at Crown, which I mentioned beforehand hoping extra care would be taken this time. Sadly, nothing changed. In addition, the overall service and facilities have clearly declined. Anything we requested was either unavailable or could not be accommodated. Even after raising multiple complaints, no one followed up and no one seemed to care, which was extremely disappointing for a hotel positioning itself as a luxury property. To make matters worse, instead of being able to relax, there was ongoing construction noise on site throughout the day, which was disruptive and uncomfortable. This was not disclosed prior to our stay, and had we been informed, we would have reconsidered booking. Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing, especially given the cost and the special occasion being celebrated. I regret choosing Crown Sydney for what should have been a memorable stay. For a hotel that markets itself as luxury, this experience fell well below expectations.

We stay there 2 nights and we paid them 1050$ per night and they give us house keeping only one day last day we stay in dirty room with mess . I recommend to people don't go there

The view from the Crown Towers room is excellent, and honestly, that’s where the positives end. Given the very high price point, you’d expect access to decent facilities like a pool, sauna, spa, or even an indoor pool. Instead, there’s only one overcrowded outdoor pool with barely any space to relax. Drinks and food are overpriced, and to make it worse, they charge up to $400 just to access pool seating. For a hotel positioning itself as ultra-luxury, the value simply isn’t there. The experience doesn’t match the price tag.
