Reviews for InterContinental Sydney, an IHG Hotel
Views and location perfection
Stayed for two nights in June during vivid Sydney. Had a Harbour Bridge room, which was absolutely amazing. The view was completely unbeatable. All the staff are friendly and attentive, and you are well looked after in this hotel. We had a drink in the lobby bar, which is beautiful and atmospheric. Again the service here was faultless.The rooms are modern and clean and it was a luxurious treat to stay here. You are right next door to the train and ferries at the very bottom of town where all the action is. Everything’s walkable from here. Will definitely return and would happily recommend this hotel to others. You won’t be disappointed.

A wonderful experience
The room had an incredible view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The staff were friendly and helpful and both the breakfast buffet and room service were excellent. The room was a good size and very comfortable. The location of the hotel was fantastic for walking and a night at the Opera House for a show.

Great spot to stay in Sydney!
What a fantastic stay! we loved this hotel. Megan at the front desk was terrific and all the staff were helpful and knowledgeable. The location is very close to the harbor, which was great. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. We will definitely stay at this hotel whenever we are in Sydney. Note-it is easier to enter the hotel from the main entrance with luggage. The back entrance has some stairs to get down to the lobby.

Excellent and amazing staff and breakfast!
The stay was excellent and the staff was very and extremely friendly! The breakfast was delicious and a lot of variety of food for every taste! However, even though we booked through Amex travel by specifying that we are a couple with a kid, they gave us a king bed room. I was thinking that we will have a sod bed or something similar but no. The staff has apologized for the inconvenience, but such rules must be clearly stated when booking specially from such luxurious high standards hotels.

Great place to stay!
Great location. Room was lovely and clean. Bed was comfortable. Great city view. Staff were friendly. Car parking was easy with Valet parking. Will definitely stay again!!
