Reviews for InterContinental Sydney
A beautiful hotel, but waitstaff could use some improvement.
A lovely hotel with a great location near Circular Quay. The hotel staff was great, especially the front desk staff. Our room was very nice. My only complaint was that the shower door did not completely close (about a 1/4" gap that's in the design - not because the door wouldn't close completely). The Treasury Bar was a great location for drinks and dinner. However, the service was slow and less than expected for such a location. The breakfast buffet was excellent, but again, the service was less than it should have been.

This was my first stay at the Intercontinental Sydney and it exceeded my expectations.
I found every staff member courteous and friendly. The room was well maintained clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was delicious.

Best Club Lounge in Australia
I have stayed at the InterContinental Sydney many times over the years, and it is consistently excellent. The location is unbeatable, with stunning views over Sydney Harbour. The staff are outstanding, particularly those in the Club Lounge, who always provide exceptional service. In my opinion, it’s the best Club Lounge in Australia

perfect location, quality staff and amenities
This is our second stay at Intercontinental Sydney and will again recommend to anyone traveling for holiday or business. Cannot stress the convenience of the location (near light rail/train and bus) as well as walking distance to many attractions. The staff has always been on point and offer nothing but bespoke service. Breakfast is quality, including a little something for everyone. The breakfast barista coffee inclusion makes the experience feel luxurious ( coming from a US traveler used to being charged for every little extra at other hotels ).

Very HiTech rooms. The lights come on as you enter your room. The room keys pick your floor number on the 5 lifts. They have a nice waiting room on the 31st floor when you get there early and are waiting for a room. Beautiful views of Sydney Opera House and Circular Quay. Half a block to pick up a Hop On Hop Off bus. I can’t express powerfully enough how I love the attention I got from the staff.
