Terrible experience. I booked to stay for 6 people on a business trip. I booked through Amex whilst using my Langham “Brilliant” membership. Upon arrival they informed me that half of my rooms were cancelled by Amex. The lady at the counter turned me away. I left for my business meetings without getting a chance to change or refresh. After spending 30 minutes on the phone to Amex - they advised me they spoke to Langham and assured me my rooms were still booked - I returned later to show Langham the email from Amex. She proceeded to charge me $850 extra for two rooms. I asked the lady at the counter for her manager - and she said it was her. Luckily the actual manager was overhearing the conversation. At the end I had to negotiate with the manager to $65 extra per room whilst my team waited to check in. Lost time, money and totally shocked by the rudeness of the customer service at check in desk. Won’t be coming back to find cancelled booking and staff willing to charge more rather than help a returning client.

The Langham exceeded our expectations. Every aspect of our weekend was enhanced by the attentive staff, the beautiful decor and the luxurious room. A perfect location for a perfect long weekend.

Not having the restaurant open for lunch or dinner is far from satisfactory, the bar being the only option for food is not what you would expect from a 5 star hotel.

Greeted and welcomed to the Langham, you feel like royalty. Everything was perfect and top quality. Rooms were very clean and most comfortable bed. Room was quiet. Food excellent. Staff very friendly and wanting to help. Nick is fantastic!
