Everyone was so kind and inviting. But my masseuse Maria was amazing! She was so calm and inquisitive about my needs. She made me feel comfortable and not rushed. Her hands were magical, it was a stand out massage for me. I’m super grateful to have gotten Maria. She listened to my concerned and worked to suit my needs. Thank you!

From what was supposed to be a memorable New Year celebration to an absolute regret: First: Overcharges on my credit card, as platinum elite I was theoretically upgraded to a better view room just to find out after they unilaterally decided to charge me a different room fee without notifying, consulting or explaining so I had to dispute with their CS to get a refund. Second: Poor management from the get go, right after checking in, they were not able to know how many bags we had left, 4, 5? Who cares! It’s all the same to them. Third: They enabled a temporary breakfast venue for the overflow due to Christmas’s, but the coordination between the main 2nd and temporary venues was a disaster sending people back and forth promising space and when you would get there there would either be nobody to control the flow of people or they would just let anybody in without checking if they were hotel guests. Who cares! Fourth: They clearly hired very young untrained personnel who you could see were wandering around the venue not knowing what to do or how to answer guests…. Fifth: It looks like the main check-in area is not 24/7 so if you want to leave early and check-out, …. Well… you’re on your own :D And I could go on and on, from the suspicious stains on the bed shark plushie to the lack of mini-bar menu which leaves you wondering if it’s all free or what price you would be paying for. Absolute disaster, cannot stress enough how much to AVOID this W. Having been at several Ws in the past, this has been the most overpriced and unworthy experience of all. Highly regrettable. Biggest W for Marriott Group? Perhaps you should first get better at managing special dates on sizeable hotels prior to planting a brand on it.

I had a pamper package with Yukari at the Away Spa today and it was wonderful. She was attentive, ensured I was comfortable and warm, and applied the perfect pressure with great skill. Yukari was also genuinely warm and professional, going above and beyond to ensure I felt completely cared for. It was such a lovely experience from start to finish.

I booked a 90-minute full-body spa treatment with Maria at the hotel’s AWAY Spa, and she was absolutely amazing and incredibly professional. I’ve been living with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis for years and have tried many massages to relieve the pain caused by this condition. But after Maria’s treatment, for the first time ever, I could feel the throbbing and swelling in my thyroid easing up. My tight muscles and arthritis also felt much better. For the first time during a massage, I was so relaxed that I almost fell asleep! If you have similar issues, or even just simple fatigue, I highly recommend Maria. She is truly exceptional, both in her technique and her personal charm.
