Hotel is great, room was very nice comfortable bed although a dated bathroom check in staff and other staff were excellent. However, they have very limited food options and restaurant had a lot of flaws, they have a bar which only serves their beer and when i tried to use it was being used as a bag locker. I had a credit for food so i had to eat at the hotel. For the main restaurant on day 1 I had a lunch schnitzel which was overcooked dry and tasteless, for dinner i had the gnocchi which was very good, i ordered a gin and found that they had spelling mistakes on their wine list “it’s monkey 47 not munday 47” it was corrected the next day” breakfast first day was average when i asked for water i was told it was on the Buffet ok if your in a 2* hotel not cool with these prices, nothing seemed to arrive in the right sequence i asked for eggs they came but the toast took forever. Coffee was pretty sub par all around on the second day asked for a coffee which never arrived and never saw a waiter for 10 minutes. Restaurant needs to stop hiring pretty people and instead hire competent people- definitely ruins the otherwise excellent hotel

Our stay at the Four Seasons Sydney was genuinely memorable. From the moment we arrived, there was a sense of ease that stayed with us throughout. Nothing needed to be requested or explained. We simply felt comfortable, in a very natural and unforced way. What makes this hotel special is not what it shows, but what it quietly gives. The people create an atmosphere that feels human, calm and sincere. It is a place you remember not for its luxury, but for how it makes you feel.

We enjoyed our stay at the Four Seasons Sydney and would happily return. The location is excellent and made it easy to get around the city and reach the main sites. We stayed in a suite because our adult son was travelling with us, and the extra space made a big difference. The sofa bed worked well and it was great having room to spread out. We also had access to the Executive Lounge, which added a lot of value. The lounge staff were a real highlight. They were friendly, attentive, and consistently polite. When they were available, service was excellent and they created a welcoming, well run space for breakfast and for evening drinks and canapés. At peak times, the lounge was busy and service was less consistent. We sometimes had to seek assistance rather than being approached. This felt less about effort and more about staffing levels. The team on shift worked hard and did the best they could. Our main frustration was on arrival. Our flight was delayed and we did not reach the hotel until after 12:30am. The front doors were locked and it took around two to three minutes before we were let in, despite multiple staff being visible at reception. Our son had checked in earlier and met us, so we were able to bypass reception and head straight to the room. Even so, no one greeted us, apologised for the delay at the door, or offered assistance once we were inside. The following morning we also had trouble reaching reception by phone. We could not get an answer, and concierge also could not get through. The room itself was lovely and the view was excellent, though the decor felt a little dated. The Executive Lounge was a good space, but the lounge chairs were stained, which was surprising. Overall, we are enjoying the Four Seasons product and will look to stay at Four Seasons during our future travels.

What a great hotel! The lobby is beautiful. The service was friendly and great. The concierge was helpful. We loved the bar off the lobby and the dining room served excellent meals. Room service was very quick, well done and delicious. It was such a fun place to stay! Our room? It was a little on the small side, but had nice views, was impeccably decorated, had a great bathroom and was spotlessly clean. Then, there was the location. It could not be better located . . . right across the street from the Circular Quay/Main Harbor. The Rocks nightlife area is a block away. The famed bridge is a few blocks beyond, and the Opera House is a fun 5-minute walk. The shopping district is an easy 2 or 3 blocks in the opposite direction. You absolutely could not ask for a better location. There were two slight negatives. First, the pool deck really feels like you are wedged up on a rooftop. We thought it might be a nice place to have a cocktail and view the skyline. For whatever reason, it has not been configured that way, although it seems to have spectacular potential. Our big criticism, though, is that we were there for 4 nights, over New Year’s Eve. It was our first visit to Sydney, and the NYE fireworks have been a bucket list item for us. Anyway, the Four Seasons charges a huge premium for their “New Year’s Eve” package. We obviously didn’t mind paying the premium BUT, other than the room, you didn’t actually GET anything for this “package.” We had absolutely no idea where to view the fireworks, how to get into the viewing area, what the program was like, what time to go, etc. etc. There were 1.1 million people there. It was mobbed. It would have been nice for the Four Seasons to have had a little guide for their NYE Package guests. At the very least, the concierge should have had a little tutorial, rather than just vaguely waving in the direction of the harbor.

This hotel was great from the beginning to end (and in-between). We arrived in Sydney at 6:30 am and got to the hotel about 60 minutes later; I had called for an early check-in but they could make no promises. When we arrived there was no room available (not surprising), but they told us we could store our suitcases and they would give us some key cards to get into the spa with its sauna, steam room, shower, changing rooms, and cold water! We took advantage and were able to freshen up and change clothes after the 16+ hour flight. This allowed us to get out and enjoy the neighborhood (more about that shortly). We finally got checked in and the room had nice city views. Comfy and plenty of place to unpack. The location is right near Circular Quay--lots of restaurants, touristy sites, shops, and the Opera House in the area. We ate at the restaurant which was very good. Breakfast buffet was wonderful; always had food restocked, coffee brought out quickly, and huge selection. Staff was helpful at all times and always friendly. Lots of "G'days!" This place is a little pricey, but well worth it for the location, the breakfast, and the fine experience provided by a staff that is obviously well-trained. Kudos to the Four Seasons!
