This has been the third time I have stayed at this hotel. I love this hotel because of their exceptional service, and location. It is conveniently located next to the Taipei Main Station and Q Square Mall. They also offer really great tea and coffee in the rooms, as well as sparkling water and filtered water. I want to give a special shoutout to the first floor concierge staff. Mike Huang, Tony Ho, and John Lee are super attentive. They are so friendly and are always willing to help. They also give great advice on things to do in Taipei city. They are a great asset to Palais de Chine.

Had a wonderful stay over at the hotel with my family. The decor is nice, room is cosy, and location is very accessible. But really, the icing on the cake is the excellent service shown by officer Polly, who has even won the praise of my mother in law.

I stayed at Palais de Chine Hotel in Taipei for almost five days, and overall it was a great experience. I was especially happy to enjoy some traditional Chinese breakfast again — it’s been a while since I had that, and it felt kind of emotional! The location is super convenient, right next to the train station, which made getting around really easy. The room was okay. Some of the equipment felt a bit old, and the air conditioning wasn’t very strong. Also, the price is on the higher side. But overall, it was still a comfortable stay. One thing that really stood out to me was when I randomly ran into Lucy (I think she’s the Guest Relations Manager) on the 6th floor — she immediately greeted me by name and even remembered my room number. I was honestly a bit shocked, but also really touched. You can tell she genuinely cares about the guests. She was super friendly and always willing to help with anything. Also, Polly at Le Salon on the 17th floor was very kind and helpful too. The food options there were pretty diverse, and the atmosphere was relaxing — it’s the kind of place where you could easily spend a whole day just chilling. Overall, I had a really enjoyable stay. There were a few small downsides, but nothing that ruined the experience. I’d definitely consider coming back the next time I visit Taipei.

I would like to commend Miss Sarah Chen for her excellent service. She was attentive, professional, and went the extra mile to ensure everything was handled smoothly. Her positive attitude and efficiency made the experience pleasant and stress-free. Truly an outstanding example of dedication and commitment to great service. Well done keep up your good work. Cheers

Glad to see a lot of improvements. On a previous occasion, the breakfast experience was terrible (we spotted a live cockroach taking a stroll at the fruit station) and we stayed away from breakfast for the rest of that stay. This time, we are glad to see that hygiene and lighting has improved. We booked the executive room and the afternoon menu downstairs at the restaurant was quite good, enough choice for vegetarian and desert was great. The lounge upstairs was a bit confusing, not much snacks but the view was nice. Front desk efficiency which was a previous pain point has improved. Always great to see hotel improving on subsequent visits.
