Palais de Chine

This was a great hotel! Our room felt very luxurious. I wanted to give a shout-out to John Lee who really came through with my multiple requests for help! He helped me find a pedicure nearby and other misc needs. But the best thing he did was help me figure out where to drop off our rental car since Hertz insisted I take care of that upon arrival. He made several phone calls and arranged a ride from Hertz to the hotel, all in Chinese, of course. :) He was very attentive and kind.

Right next to the main station, easy to find if you look properly, once inside you'll enter a different atmosphere, almost like a sophisticated underground cave, but still next to a commercial mall for lights addicted. Nice touch to have a lounge bar with complementary snacks and if you stay in a bigger room, a surprisingly tasty dinner is included as well. A bit of a letdown is the breakfast, nothing really stands out for a 5 stars buffet, but definitely acceptable. if you're interested in freemasonry symbolism, its definitely your Mecca.

Excellent Hotel, we stayed 7 nights. It has a very strategic location as it near Train Station and several shopping malls. Services are also very good; room is quite spacious and clean. Breakfast and dinner also have great options Will definitely stay there again when visiting Taipei

From the moment I stepped into this hotel, I felt Disney Haunted Mansion vibes. The intricacies in decor and details were so fun to experience. Rooms were spacious, and any type of service was prompt and professional. They even had sparkling water refill station on our floor. Each day, John Lee and Andy Liang took care of us and gave us helpful tips to navigate our days exploring the city. Top notch experience that takes care of every aspect of our trip.

Their local tips made navigation effortless and enriched each day’s plans. Highlights included a vibrant night market just a few blocks away, recommended by the concierges and not to be missed. Attentive service, convenient location adjacent to the high speed rail, and genuine hospitality make Palais de Chine a top choice for exploring Taipei on foot.
