Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay

This hotel always pleases us as a corporate group. And as an individual the room is clean and the bedding nice. The food service/quality very good with healthy choices if warranted. The lobby area very comfortable and easy to relax with a group of business associates / friends. The bar staff fun and provides exceptional service. The lobby restrooms clean and shining. Pool area peaceful.

This was genuinely one of the most satisfying Grand Hyatt properties I have stayed at in the United States. I was extremely grateful that the team seamlessly processed a suite upgrade for me as a Globalist member, which allowed me to enjoy an unforgettable view. Honestly, it was the most breathtaking hotel view I’ve experienced since the iconic suite view at Grand Hyatt Seoul overlooking Namsan. Breakfast was equally impressive, offering a wide variety of fresh, high-quality ingredients and delicious menu options. Additionally, I didn't catch their name, but the staff member who assisted me via text message was incredibly helpful and kindly brought a microwave up to my room. The team here can truly be proud of operating one of the finest Grand Hyatt hotels in the country. Thank you for a wonderful stay, and I look forward to returning on my next visit to Tampa!

Resort is beautiful, front check in Staff were great, valet staff great, housekeeping amazing. Room was very clean, comfortable bed, except lights would flicker constantly, & the A/C was not working while there which was difficult getting used to the humidity in Florida and not being able to cool down.

I stayed here for an extended visit and found that the hotel wasn’t ideal for a longer vacation. The extra charges added up quickly, especially the car‑parking fees, which were much higher than expected and made the stay noticeably more expensive. Customer service was inconsistent. Some staff were genuinely helpful and went out of their way to assist, but at other times the service fell short. A few interactions felt dismissive, which was disappointing during a longer stay. Another issue was the noise in the evenings. The bar area becomes very loud, and the noise spills directly into the reception area, making it difficult to speak with staff or hold a conversation. It’s also quite noisy if you choose to eat in the bar area, which affected the overall comfort. Overall, while the hotel has good qualities, the high additional costs, inconsistent customer service, and evening noise levels made it less suitable for an extended stay.

Beautiful hotel with great amenities and location. Our meals were all phenomenal and staff was attentive and courteous. I would definitely recommend friends and family to stay at this location.
