Underwhelming for its "Grand" Name
This hotel needs some TLC. Front desk was "blah." when I arrived. Surprised there are not automatic doors here, so coming in with luggage is a bit of a hassle. You will have a walk on your hand because you must park in a parking ramp for $30/day. That was a surprise. My room had more than an average amount of nicks and scraps on the walls and doors. Felt tired and uncared for.

wonderful experience
Beautiful room with an amazing view. The staff was extremely friendly and kind! The restaurant, 1823, was a casual wonderful place with TV's to watch sports, and really good food! Try the Grouper Reuben! Great hotel, great people!

I have stayed at this hotel many times and will again in the future. It is always clean and friendly, very welcoming. The food is wonderful and I love eating at Oystercatchers. It is relaxing and delicious. I love the shrimp etouffee!

Expensive. Not worth the price.
Hotel is overpriced at every corner and not worth it. Half the views from the hotel are of a parking lot and freeway. No free breakfast. The food and bar drinks are stupidly overpriced. They don’t even offer any upgraded tv channels. Stayed at much better and friendlier hotels for less. Hotel staff were the best part but I’ll still look for another place to try out next time I’m in town.
