The Tampa EDITION

Fantastic hotel, staff and stay. Would happily return. Excellent location with nice restaurants and shops within walking distance. We look forward to returning.

First a shoutout to Sally! I had a last minute, unplanned, trip to Tampa. I called the hotel at 430a on my way to the airport. Asking what type of room could I book that would be ready for check in when I arrived super early at 9am. She was so awesome and helpful! Rooms are nice, clean. Lobby bar is a vibe. The bartenders are super attentive and fantastic. Looking forward to returning when I’m not rushed and able to enjoy the property more.

We had a lovely 3 night stay at this hotel, the staff are excellent, nothing is too much trouble and there are so many of them! The room was great, location brilliant, right by the Riverside Walk. Breakfast in the lobby was first class, a great way to start the day. I used the gym which had some really good machines. The staff at the pool were very helpful, it is a good spot, the only issue we had was on the Sunday afternoon there were a couple of large groups, a lot of people and it was not a very pleasant experience...hence going to the gym! Other than giving Sunday afternoons a miss, would certainly recommend The Tampa Edition.

I rarely give a 5 rating but this property deserves it. Everything was top tier - service, location near trendy Water street, decor, comfort, gym, pool, restaurants. I would come back to Tampa just to stay at this hotel - it is that nice.

The staff came in the middle of the night with security escort about complains that the music was loud. Her words: “We had two complaints about loud music. Third strike and you are out!”…I wasn’t aware that the tiny speaker was loud and nobody called me or said anything and you show up to my room threatening me that you are going to kick me out? Without prior warning? What is this place? I stayed at the Madrid Edition and they were nothing like it. Will certainly never come back to the Tampa Edition!
