We have had the best time at Tampa EDITION. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. The smell of the lobby is intoxicating and it matches all of the scents of the amenities offered in your room. The greenery is beautiful and the stairway is gorgeous. People literally wait in line to take pictures there. The staff is so friendly and helpful from the valet, check-in, restaurants, bartenders, etc. They are all dressed in a very neutral color palette that matches the vibe of the entire hotel. The food at Market was absolutely delicious for breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed sitting at the bar there and chatting with the workers. Wonderful flavors leaving you wanting to try more on the menu. We enjoyed the best limoncello pancakes, eggs in purgatory, Sicilian breakfast, orecchiette pasta, hot honey pizza, and the most delicious burrata with heirloom tomatoes. Everything was so so good. The room is modern and lovely. The bed was comfortable. Housekeeping quite attentive. The location is great with lots of restaurants and bars just steps away. We will definitely be back! We are already looking forward to our next visit.

The hotel staff are courteous and very responsive, and the food at the Market is great. However, the hotel does not meet the five-star rating for the following reasons: We checked into the Tampa EDITION with high expectations, but the stay was not consistently pleasant. Check-in took over 15 minutes, and we were initially given the wrong room. Although we were moved to a higher floor with a water view, the bellman forgot the keys, causing another delay. The “Premium Room” is under 300 sq ft, which feels misleading at a rate exceeding $1,000 per night. Comfort was lacking—the pillows were overly soft, causing neck pain. Compounding this, there was significant noise from racing cars late at night and into the early morning, making restful sleep difficult. In-room details were poorly executed. There was no liquid hand soap. The shower bottles had extremely small, barely readable labels, and the shampoo nozzle was so hard to press that dispensing the product was frustrating. The shower cap packaging was also difficult to open. Staff were generally pleasant but undertrained. At Azure, we could barely understand the hostess, though our waiter, Armando, was excellent. Food and wine are significantly overpriced compared to those at true five-star hotels in New York or Miami. Billing errors after checkout were unacceptable. Breakfast—clearly included in our reservation—was charged at $82. And we were billed **$19 ** for a can of Pepsi, even though the in-room price was **$7**. Luxury should be effortless; this was not.

blown away by how amazing this hotel was. was not expecting much, honestly. first off the staff-incredibly friendly, helpful, in particular i want to single out Daria from guest relations & the concierge gentleman(sorry, i forgot his name). had a toilet issue-they have a primarily female engineering staff-how cool is that?? breakfast in the Market in the lobby was outstanding. room was clean & an interesting 2 bedroom suite atmosphere. we so enjoyed our stay here. would go back in a heartbeat!

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. I visited for the holidays and the lobby really set the vibe magnificently. But the staff was what set this experience above and beyond. Stella and Alysia (+ the whole front desk team) made this visit the best experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. They found out it was my first time back in Tampa after a number of years in the military, and they really went out of their way to make me feel welcomed back to my home city. I’ll never forget it. This stay was well worth it and I’d do it 1000 times over.
