Booked a stay for my wife and daughter who were traveling together to Tampa. Inquired about breakfast credit given lifetime Titanium status. After asking multiple times, was granted a credit for two mornings there (length of stay). Upon arriving at property late in the evening to check in, front desk informed my wife that she was ineligible for the credit because the reservation was booked through a third party (it was not, it was booked through the Marriott app). Then, when she preferred breakfast through room service vs in the lobby, I was informed the credit didn’t cover breakfast in room. I asked about this, and was told they would work with us to see what they could do. I was promised a follow up call and for it to be addressed, no call ever came. Lifetime titanium, nearly 100 nights and 25k in room spend already this year, and get a run around/nickel and dimed until we basically stopped asking. Spend your money and loyalty elsewhere. Don’t stay here.

We stayed at The Tampa Edition for a few days prior to embarking on a cruise out of Tampa. The hotel itself was great, our room was spacious and modern, the staff were all friendly and helpful, and the in-house restaurants and bar were excellent.

The rooms are small, the pool is over rated and they just let anyone in the pool area off the street. We did a three day couples getaway and every single day we were bombarded by groups of 20 some things coming into the pool area with boom boxes and taking over the place. The service for the hotel was not good, they said it was based on them being too busy at the time because they had so many concerts in the area. If you had a complaint they didn’t care. Too expensive for what they have to offer. We won’t be back.

We had trouble finding a hotel due to spring break and got lucky when we noticed a room open up at the Edition. I had heard great things from others but expectations were in check due to the hotel being at capacity and a disastrous stay at another hotel leading up to our stay. We could not have been happier with how things turned out. You cannot walk a second without someone from the hotel offering a warm greeting. From the second we arrived, we received exceptional service from the valet and at check in. The room was immaculate and spacious with great views. The pool area was well-maintained despite how busy the hotel was. Every meal we had was also terrific. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

This hotel is incredible. Every element and detail felt high end from the smell of the hotel, the quality of pool lounge chairs, the hardwood floors, the decor, and so much more. Service was wonderful, particularly the pool waitresses- so attentive and friendly. Then there are the plants- everywhere! It’s like staying somewhere exotic and tropical and amazing. We’ll definitely be staying at this hotel again in the future!
