The Tampa EDITION

We had a lovely 3 night stay at this hotel, the staff are excellent, nothing is too much trouble and there are so many of them! The room was great, location brilliant, right by the Riverside Walk. Breakfast in the lobby was first class, a great way to start the day. I used the gym which had some really good machines. The staff at the pool were very helpful, it is a good spot, the only issue we had was on the Sunday afternoon there were a couple of large groups, a lot of people and it was not a very pleasant experience...hence going to the gym! Other than giving Sunday afternoons a miss, would certainly recommend The Tampa Edition.

I rarely give a 5 rating but this property deserves it. Everything was top tier - service, location near trendy Water street, decor, comfort, gym, pool, restaurants. I would come back to Tampa just to stay at this hotel - it is that nice.

The staff came in the middle of the night with security escort about complains that the music was loud. Her words: “We had two complaints about loud music. Third strike and you are out!”…I wasn’t aware that the tiny speaker was loud and nobody called me or said anything and you show up to my room threatening me that you are going to kick me out? Without prior warning? What is this place? I stayed at the Madrid Edition and they were nothing like it. Will certainly never come back to the Tampa Edition!

I have stayed at numerous hotels over the years and the Tampa Edition Hotel is amazing. From check in to checkout it was an awesome experience. The gentleman who check me in did an outstanding job of listing options, discussing benefits and providing directions. Forgot his name but he previously worked at the Ritz Carlton in Pentagon City. The rooms were nice and specious. The food both and the roof top and breakfast in lobby restaurants was very good. A must stay in Tampa.

We have had the best time at Tampa EDITION. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. The smell of the lobby is intoxicating and it matches all of the scents of the amenities offered in your room. The greenery is beautiful and the stairway is gorgeous. People literally wait in line to take pictures there. The staff is so friendly and helpful from the valet, check-in, restaurants, bartenders, etc. They are all dressed in a very neutral color palette that matches the vibe of the entire hotel. The food at Market was absolutely delicious for breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed sitting at the bar there and chatting with the workers. Wonderful flavors leaving you wanting to try more on the menu. We enjoyed the best limoncello pancakes, eggs in purgatory, Sicilian breakfast, orecchiette pasta, hot honey pizza, and the most delicious burrata with heirloom tomatoes. Everything was so so good. The room is modern and lovely. The bed was comfortable. Housekeeping quite attentive. The location is great with lots of restaurants and bars just steps away. We will definitely be back! We are already looking forward to our next visit.
