We’ve appreciated this amazing hotel. excellent quality price, fabulous place, beautiful scenery and comfortable in all. Simply wonderful, especially Mrs. Sonia who amazed us with her kindness and availability and that we will always carry in our hearts.

Beautiful and super relaxing experience. All cleaned up and safe. The magnificent staff will welcome you for everything you need. The best of them are the restaurant staff and Adriana at the reception. We really recommend this resort and all the experiences

completely underwhelming

Stayed here for two nights, then decided to go for another hotel. We booked a Premier room and were expecting a modern room. However the room was very dated. Check-in was very slow and took almost 45 minutes. The staff is friendly but slow. Some do not speak English. In our room was no WiFi signal at all. Breakfast was served from 8-10am. For a weekend and a full hotel due to a wedding function, the breakfast window was definitively to short. Breakfast room was accordingly crazy and staff was slow. Not the holiday stay we wished for. Very disappointing.

Don't know whether to put 3 or 4 stars!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed September 13, 2020

What started out as 4 stars deteriorated to 3 stars when hordes of very very noisy guests arrived for the weekend with sunbed bagging before breakfast leaving none available, music blaring till 1.15 at night and suddenly the dining room turned from a professional waiter served enjoyable experience to a free for all queuing for a buffet - the staff are wonderful, the pools gorgeous, the rooms comfortable but oh the noise!. Spoilt the last days of our holiday.

Has potential but 5 star service was not received

We've just got home from a lovely, mainly sunny week(!) in Sicily. We stayed in the Diamond hotel the whole week. The location worked really well for us; Giardini Naxos has a nice waterfront for a stroll, plenty of restaurants and a good beach (although this is about a 25 min walk from the hotel). It's also just a 10 min drive from the beautiful Taormina, and the shuttle service from the hotel was really useful. When we arrived at the hotel first impression were pretty good, it looks inviting and the welcome was good. There's plenty of space, outdoors and indoors, putting green, spa. Unfortunately we were a little bit disappointed once settled in as the hotel just didn't meet its potential. Visiting here in the autumn, we anticipated that some facilities may not be up and running, but the reality was the hotel had a pretty small number of staff working which hugely restricted what was on offer. For example, the rooftop pool which was far nicer had just 7 sunbeds, no towels, no bar. The only bar which was open was the outdoor one by the other pool. The spa also had just 2 staff members including the therapist, which meant reception was rarely covered, there were no towels available on arrival and the men's facilities were dirty. As I said, the hotel looks the part and I am sure a summer stay would be very pleasant. Our overall view though is that a 5 star hotel would offer 5 star service no matter what, and this is not what we received. If you get a good deal & expect a 4 star, we think you will enjoy it!
