San Domenico Palace was on our list for quite some time and it exceeded all our expectations. We loved the historical significance and the modern elegance and comfort of this place. We stayed at Junior Suite with Jacuzzi overlooking Mount Etna and the feeling of waking up to this left us speechless. The infinity pool, the service and the food at Principe Cerami are phenomenal. The best hotel not only in Taormina, but in all of Sicily.

The customer service is above and beyond ! The views are breathtaking! You will not be disappointed and you will want to visit again and again!

Impossible to get in if you don’t book a room . The arrogance is incredible. Since the white Lotus they think they can overcharge. And refuse anybody that doesn’t look good enough. Hotel Timeo and Villa Sankt Andrea are so much better in price quantity ratio.

From the moment we entered this stunning hotel, we fell in love with its incredible beauty and elegance. The top notch staff were beyond any others we have encountered. Their warmth, kindness and attentiveness were unsurpassed. Special thanks to the loveliest young woman, Dunia, who worked at reception and Olga of the concierge desk. We must also thank Sophia, the world’s greatest bartender…each cocktail was a true work of art! We have never been to a hotel that was better maintained. Even the gym was serviced by full-time staff that would immediately clean the equipment as you finished. They were constantly wiping the floors and replenishing water and snacks. The hotel is gorgeous and spotless. We had two blips during our stay (a poorly orchestrated tour of a town in Sicily and bad service at the resort’s hotel our last night). Neither lessened our enthusiasm for recommending this Four Seasons, in part because of the staff’s heartfelt apologies for those two problems.

If you can afford to treat yourself you will certainly never regret your experience of staying at this most wonderful idillic hotel. The property, its location, ambiance and truly remarkable quality of facilities, amenities and service is second to none. The staff are so friendly, helpful, attentive and professional that when one leaves one feels one is leaving friends behind. Must be the best in Sicily and one of the top city hotels in the world.
