Very Disappointing Lobby Area
The hotel lobby & bar were atrocious and very unimpressive. It was a shock to see how modest, dated and shoddy it was. It looked like a 3 star at best. The curtains were permanently drawn even in the day, despite being on the beach front. It felt like you were in a dark, city hotel. This is normally an area we enjoy spending time in, and this was a big disappointment. The breakfast was really great with amazing choices. The staff were so attentive (Andrew & Solomon). The breakfast room, although very basic, had spectacular views. The only negative here was the poor smoked salmon quality. The rooftop pool area is incredible. Room service was outstanding. The Shabbat dinner was truly superb on every level. One of the best we have had. We loved the thoughtful touches that were put on the pillows at night. The renovated room was good. The staff and service were excellent.

Great Hotel in Tel Aviv
Carlton is a very well managed and maintained full service hotel in excellent Tel Aviv location - the best part of the city shoreline. We had a very comfortable and very pleasant 4-night stay in December 2025. Our room was spacious, clean, with a really nice view of Mediterranean Sea and Tel Aviv. It was well maintained, with a very comfortable bed, and high quality linens. Breakfasts were outstanding - high quality ingredients, absolutely delicious, excellent service, and amazing variety. The hotel staff was always helpful and very professional. This was our second stay at the Carlton, and we would not hesitate to stay there again in the future.

The Carlton Hotel in Tel Aviv, Israel has great views, modern/comfortable rooms, and great food in a clean and friendly environment. The rooftop pool and location make this a “go-to” destination for business or vacation.

Excellent Experience!
The staff were courteous and friendly. This is at least the second time we have stayed at the Carlton and the experience was extremely enjoyable. We would stay again. We especially enjoyed the hotel breakfast in the building that overlooks the Mediterranean Sea.
