I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel rooms and facilities - since there are some mixed reviews in TripAdvisor. Room in 22nd floor had wonderful views. Parking facilities are convenient and fairly priced for Israel. Restaurant offering at night are fairly limited though - most guests obviously opt to eat elsewhere and closes early. If you like the location close to Yaffa and Nevé Tsedek this is a great choice. It’s expensive but in line with TLV prices.

After our previous stay a few weeks ago, I filled out a customer satisfaction survey requested by the hotel about our experiences. I had encountered a few problems. My ID number on the invoice was incorrect even though they had photocopied the document. Some of the news channels on the TV did not work. Additionally, the unexpected need to press a yellow button on the remote control without prior instruction for the TV to function was a nuisance. I received a long courteous response from the guest relations manager with apologies. I had the written a subsequent email to both the guest relations manager and the hotel which was received by them but totally ignored. For such a prestigious hotel, I would have expected better service even if they disagreed with what I had written. On our recent stay a few days ago, we were welcomed by the front desk manager who assured me that that the room had been checked to ensure that we would not encounter the same problems again. However, we had a different more serious problem. We put some drinks in the fridge; however when we returned from a concert late at night , we were surprised that they were not cold. The fridge was not working. Surely, the rooms supervisor should check that all appliances in rooms are in good working order before offering them to a guest. The breakfast and staff service in the Jaffa Court are always of a very high standard. However, for the first time the different offerings were not labelled as they had always been on all previous occasions. Some months ago I had written a highly complimentary report about this hotel. Regrettably matters have changed. The overall management is not checking on the supervisors to ensure that the hotel's previously high standards are maintained. While the reader of this review might think that I am fussing about a load of small matters, which might be accurate, the overall picture of a lack of attention to detail in one of the most expensive hotels in Tel Aviv by management cannot be overlooked. A customer expects impeccable management which they are currently not able to offer. It is deeply regrettable.
