A beautiful guided walk

A simple and beautiful walk, with a truly passionate connection to the land and coast. So many tourist experiences are overly commercial and don’t reflect history of the place - this is different and special

White Lotus Mexican style--minus the murder!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

We recently returned from Paradero Resort, and let me tell you, it felt like we stumbled into a Mexican version of The White Lotus—minus the ominous murder vibes, of course! Paradero is a charming desert oasis away from the hustle of Los Cabos. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like royalty. They all spoke English and seemed genuinely invested in making our stay unforgettable. The grounds are lavish—think infinity pool, jacuzzi, private roof decks for sunbathing, and a vibe that practically dares you to exhale and leave city life behind. The daily activities were a blast—surf lessons, beach sunbathing with catered lunches (yes, please!), cooking classes, yoga—each designed to help you unplug and recharge. And the daily breakfast? Let’s just say we’d sell our souls for another plate of those huevos rancheros. Dinners were intimate affairs, with staff who seemed to anticipate our needs before we did—like mind-readers but with guacamole. If you’re looking for a place to truly unwind and treat your senses, Paradero delivers. We left feeling like we’d been pampered by a desert spirit in the best possible way. 10/10 would recommend!

Beyond Expectations

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Absolutely magical! That’s the only way to describe our experience at Paradero in Todos Santos, Mexico — a place so extraordinary, it felt like a dream we never wanted to wake from. This isn’t just a five-star hotel — it’s a sanctuary of hospitality, beauty, and soul-restoring care. From the moment we were picked up, we knew we were in for something special. Our incredible driver greeted us with a warm smile, refreshing cool towels, sparkling water, and the most delicious homemade cookie treats — a thoughtful welcome that immediately set the tone for the kind of personalized attention Parador is known for. Our driver was also kind enough to let me practice Spanish and ask questions about the region. The staff here are nothing short of phenomenal — attentive, intuitive, and deeply kind. From the reservation and pre-arrival agents who guided us through every detail — answering questions, offering thoughtful suggestions, and booking unforgettable experiences — to the innovative and creative bartenders, and the warm, gracious restaurant and front desk teams, every interaction felt genuine and heartfelt. They anticipated our needs before we even knew we had them. It’s rare to encounter service that’s not just excellent, but soulful. We felt cared for in every possible way. Let’s talk about the food. Every single meal — from breakfast to late-night bites — was an explosion of flavor and freshness. The culinary team at Paradero has a rare gift: crafting dishes that nourish both body and spirit. Whether it was a hearty Mexican breakfast, light afternoon chips and guac, or a romantic dinner bursting with local herbs and spices, every bite was unforgettable. The setting is otherworldly. From our room, the Master Casita, we were treated to a breathtaking view of a vast cactus forest that stretched to the horizon. Sunsets here are an event — the golden light catching on the cacti and ocean, the desert air cooling into evening — and Paradero's thoughtful design invites you to soak it all in. One of the most moving parts of our stay happened on our second night, when the staff surprised us with something truly unforgettable. They offered to set up a fire pit right on the balcony of our room for some romantic stargazing, and just when we thought it couldn’t get more perfect — they led us upstairs to discover a rooftop bath, already drawn, steaming at the perfect temperature, infused with freshly picked herbs and flowers. It was the most sensual, restorative bath we've ever had — a moment so full of love and care, it honestly brought us to tears. Romance at its absolute finest. We also took part in the Temazcal ritual, a powerful traditional sweat lodge ceremony led with reverence and deep spiritual knowledge. This wasn’t just a wellness activity — it was a transformative journey. We emerged lighter, clearer, more open. We highly recommend this sacred experience for anyone seeking emotional, mental, or spiritual renewal. It was deeply moving. Paradero is not just a place to stay — it’s a place to feel. To heal, to connect, to breathe. Every detail has been designed not just for comfort, but for beauty, intention, and soul. We left feeling more rested, more inspired, and more in love — with life, with each other, and with this very special corner of Mexico. To the entire team at Paradero: thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You created magic, and we will carry that with us always. ️ ️ ️ ️ ️ (If we could give 10 stars, we would!)

Paradero where every detail Inspires connection and relaxation

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 months ago

My experience at Paradero was truly special. From the moment you arrive, you can feel that everything is thoughtfully designed to help you disconnect and reconnect with what matters most. The rooms are comfortable, spotless, and full of details that make you feel in harmony with the surroundings. The service was warm and attentive at all times, always with a smile and a genuine willingness to help. The food was another highlight — fresh ingredients, authentic flavors, and a culinary approach that truly surprises. What I especially value is how seamlessly the landscape, design, and pace of the place come together. Everything flows naturally. It’s a space that invites you to slow down, breathe, and be present. Definitely a place I’d love to return to. And if you go, don’t miss the soft shell crab taco and the French toast at Tenoch — absolute musts!
