At Paradero Todos Santos, we’ve drawn on the splendor and simplicity of our backyard to provide a guest experience that’s rooted in community, brimming with adventure, and ripe with sensory delight. We believe in travel that cultivates a sense of place while stoking a streak of adventure—and in Todos Santos, a lush oasis nestled in a vast desert, discoveries abound. Like the rhythms of nature, every day at Paradero is different, offering a new way of contemplating our surroundings and being in the world. One experience, such as hiking, biking, fitness, etc., is included each day, as is breakfast. Premium expreiences such as surfing and Baja taco tours, can be purchased seperately. Paradero Todos Santos is an adults only property.

I recently celebrated my 41st birthday at Paradero Todos Santos, a destination that had been on my travel list for quite some time. I was excited to spend a few days relaxing, resetting, and exploring this unique property, and while there were some beautiful moments, my overall experience left room for improvement. A few standout team members truly made our visit memorable. Angel was incredibly kind and helpful with recommendations—his suggestion to visit Restaurant 1890 at Todos Santos Boutique Hotel was one of the best parts of our trip. The food, atmosphere, and service there were phenomenal. Another exceptional highlight was our beach day, coordinated by Evan, who provided A+ service and went out of his way to create a relaxing and personalized experience. Both Angel and Evan embodied what genuine hospitality should feel like. While I understand Paradero is a boutique property, I found that the limited staffing and rigid structure often reduced the flexibility and ease guests might expect at this price point. There were moments of miscommunication regarding activity bookings and meal orders, as well as limited follow-up from staff when timing or attendance issues arose. For travelers coming from different time zones or recovering from long flights, a more concierge-level attentiveness—such as confirming reservations, providing reminders, or checking in when guests miss scheduled activities—would be extremely helpful. The lack of flexibility with meal adjustments was disappointing, especially when orders were placed incorrectly. If substitutions or corrections cannot be accommodated easily, it would help for staff to clarify details when taking orders to avoid frustration. While the connection to nature is part of Paradero’s charm, a better balance between rustic and refined would elevate the experience. Upon arrival, our rooftop required cleaning, and we later had to be relocated due to low water pressure. Regular pre-arrival inspections would ensure everything—from water flow to cleanliness—is in order. Additionally, for the rate, small luxury details such as more comfortable bedding and improved insect management would go a long way toward making the stay feel truly premium. As an experienced traveler with elite-level memberships in programs such as Marriott Bonvoy Titanium Elite, Hilton Honors Diamond, and Hyatt Globalist, I’ve been fortunate to experience a range of service standards globally. Given that Paradero is part of The Leading Hotels of the World (Leaders Club) collection, my expectations were aligned with that level of thoughtful service, consistency, and guest readiness. Paradero has enormous potential—the setting is stunning, and the mission of connecting guests to the natural environment is admirable. With stronger communication, greater flexibility, and more refined guest-readiness standards, it could easily become one of Mexico’s most special retreats.

One of the most amazing places to visit — it’s so close to both Los Cabos and La Paz, yet the experience feels truly unique. The weather, the skies, the sense of relaxation, the connection with nature, and the food are all simply incredible.

Fabulous trip, made more special from the welcoming staff that assisted us from the very first moment we get there! A great start with a fresh drink from Geo with fresh rosemary from the garden while Luna embraced us with a genuine smile; the experiences are a MUST, Nando is our favourite guide in the world and loves his land so much. Be prepared to be surprise in the evening on our roof facing the cacti, with a fire pit and a note from Luna that made the celebration the most special moment we ever had of our trip to Mexico.
