We had an absolutely amazing stay at this high-class hotel in Tokyo. The views were truly spectacular-especially at sunset, nighttime, and sunrise. Being able to see Tokyo Skytree and the city skyline from our room was unforgettable. Even spotting the Godzilla statue below added a fun touch for fans. One of the highlights was the hotel's excellent service. The staff spoke English very well and were extremely helpful, guiding us to our room and explaining the in-room technology when needed. Our suite was huge, luxurious, and beautifully designed, featuring a spacious living room, private hallway, large closet, and an incredible bathroom with both a deep soaking tub and separate shower. Everything felt elegant and comfortable. We also really enjoyed the hotel's private evening happy hour, along with several on-site dining options. The Michelin-starred restaurant experience was exceptional, offering outstanding meals with a refined atmosphere and beautiful views. Breakfast was a truly unforgettable moment. We were lucky enough to enjoy a perfectly clear view of Mt. Fuji from our table. It was breathtaking—we were completely speechless and just stared at the view while enjoying a delicious meal. It was a priceless experience before heading home. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The atmosphere, service, and views created an unforgettable stay filled with positive energy. We truly appreciate the experience and highly recommend it.

Everything from the second we entered the hotel was perfection! The view is absolutely incredible from the lobby to the room, the penthouse lounge to the restaurant and bar. The staff were amazing, welcoming, so helpful, and always made us feel like our needs and comfort was top priority. I will also say a few members of the concierge staff truly went above and beyond to help me recover a wallet I lost that had sentimental value to me and I am so grateful for everything they all did to help me get it back. The whole place smells like an incredible spa, a scent I have not stopped thinking about since leaving (I want it for my house). Every detail is thoughtfully accounted for and I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The location is right in the heart of shinjuku- we were looking down on the famous Godzilla from our room. My only regret is not staying longer and booking a spa treatment- definitely doing that next time we stay.

We stayed in a two bedroom deluxe suite and it was one of the most beautiful urban hotel rooms I have ever seen. Spacious (living room and an en-suite bedroom at each side), spectacular views over the city and the most amazing amenities (complimentary Decorté gift set!). Housekeeping did an outstanding job every day. It is true that the hotel is in a busy area of the city but once you enter the hotel it is calm and serene. Breakfast is entirely à la carte with plenty of dishes to choose from. Bar in the evening was lively without being noisy and great service. Nice to relax there with a drink and admire the views. I got in touch with the concierge pre-departure to ask them to secure restaurant reservations and they couldn’t have been more helpful. But all other staff were extremely courteous, polite and helpful. Should we be lucky to return to Tokyo in the future, we would definitely stay in the BELLUSTAR.

Pretty awesome hotel, but location is an issue. The hotel is new, beautiful rooms and friendly service. We haven't tried any other amenities, except for the bar once, which was nice. We loved our room and the view. However, the noise isolation is not perfect and you can still hear the street, even if you're in the 40th floor. You're in Shinjuku, so you have thousands of people around the whole day and night. A lot of restaurants and bars in the surroundings, good shopping opportunities too. I would stay here again, if the price is competitive. But beware, if you're noise sensitive.

Amazing hotel, very refined with an amazing smell and very serene. My daughter and I travelled through Japan for a mom-daughter trip and we did not know much about different areas of Tokyo - we decided on Shinjuku for first few days and then on Shibuya for the end of the trip (staying 2 nights at the Cerulean). Location was perfect to explore Sinjuku and beyond, with plenty to walk around at night time and close to a 24h Don Quijote for fun. The view from the room was unreal, and the lounge upstairs was great. Breakfast was delicious - we had once at the lounge and one in room dining, and both were amazing. We wish we had stayed the last two nights at the Bellustar instead of the Cerulean (in retrospect) but we thought trying a different hotel in a different area would have been fun. If I am back to Tokyo, I am staying at the Bellustar again.
