Reviews for Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo

Heartfelt Appreciation for Outstanding Service

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 2 days ago

My family stayed at the Bulgari Hotel Tokyo from 12 to 14 December 2025, and we would like to express our sincere gratitude for the exceptional care and support we received during our stay. On the night before our scheduled departure to Hokkaido, our flight with ANA was unexpectedly cancelled, and what should have been a simple transition quickly became a very stressful situation as we scrambled to find an alternative way to reach Sapporo. During this challenging time, every member of the front desk and concierge team whom we approached was calm, attentive, and genuinely helpful, offering thoughtful suggestions and reassurance when we needed it most. We would especially like to commend Mr. Kazuhiro Oba, Assistant Front Office Manager, who was on duty at the concierge early in the morning of 14 December. Mr. Oba went far beyond what would normally be expected of a hotel manager. He worked tirelessly to assist us in securing a new flight, provided invaluable advice, and reassured us that should all options fall through, he would ensure our room could be held for the night. His professionalism, empathy, and steady support made an overwhelming situation far more manageable. We would also like to acknowledge another member of Mr. Oba’s team (regrettably, we did not manage to note his name) who was equally outstanding. He was extremely professional, kind, and proactive—going so far as to assist us at the airport amid the chaos. Even when we were ultimately unable to board the rescheduled flight, Mr. Oba welcomed us back to the hotel with warmth and thoughtful touches that truly made us feel cared for. We are deeply grateful to Mr. Oba and his team, and we are so glad we chose to stay at the Bulgari Hotel Tokyo. It was a truly unforgettable experience, made all the more special by the genuine attention, kindness, and care shown by your staff. Thank you once again for turning a difficult situation into a lasting and positive memory.

10/10

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo. We were impressed from the word go, treated with respect and care and nothing was too much trouble. First class service, and the room was fantastic, it felt like we were the very first guests to use it, it was that clean. The views were breathtaking, the best we had found in Tokyo. The hotel gym was the best we had used, and we go to many of the top resorts - all the amenities were a standout. The restaurant and roof top bar were excellent with a great vibe. 10/10 stay, highly recommend.

Best city hotel in the world!

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 months ago

Amazing new ultra-luxury hotel in Tokyo. Recommended highly by my travel agent and did not disappoint. On top of floors of new building floors 40-45. Amazing decor and finishes and technology in rooms. Service was amazing and attentive. Travel all around the world and would say this is the nicest city hotel anywhere. Breakfast and dinner at restaurant amazing and beautiful presentation. Fruit and snacks left in room were amazing and changed daily. Best huge peaches and grapes!!! Was so amazing I decided to go back at end of our Japan trip again instead of Aman. If going to Tokyo and want ultra luxury new fresh hotel definitely go to the Bulgari.

First Class Hotel in Central Tokyo

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 6 months ago

This is a first class hotel in every respect. The interior aesthetic is luxury personified and the staff goes above and beyond in everything they do to provide you with anything you want, sometimes before you even ask. The location is hard to beat as it is across the street from Tokyo Station, occupying the 40-45 floors of the Tokyo Midtown Yaesu Building, giving you what must be some of the best views in the entire city. The hotel is relatively new so all of the technology in the room is state of the art. Single button controls for nearly everything, including for turning on and off the shower (which I already miss)! Upon check-in (which occurs in your room), they will connect with you via What's App which becomes a supremely convenient way to request anything your heart desires. The hotel staff are super responsive getting back to us within minutes each time we texted and they also actively monitor your itinerary (such as restaurants they helped you to book) to help ensure you get to where you need to go (by arranging taxis and the like). The concierge team (which includes the worldly Julian Cole) recommended an excellent array of restaurants, including several sought after tables, and worked hard to ensure our teens also experienced more than the usual litany of tourist sites to make it fun for them. Every day, the staff put fresh fruit in our room during the afternoon along with some freshly made sweet concoction (including an almond creme tarte one day that was absolutely the best we had ever had) and in the evenings, they had a different kind of decaffeinated tea in a thermos waiting in the room as well to have as a nightcap should you wish. The gym is spacious and well maintained, with great big windows that look out onto a terrace letting in a lot of natural light. The Bulgari Bar on the 45th floor is an exquisite space in which to have a drink or even coffee. The menu of cocktails is quite extensive and there is both indoor and outdoor seating, depending on the weather and your preferences. If there was one area they still have room for improvement on, I would say the main in-house restaurant Niko Romito (at which we had breakfast every day and dinner once) is not quite at the same level as the rest of the experience. This is not to say that it is not good but at times the service was a bit disjointed (meals not coming out at the same times, for instance) and the food was very good yet not exceptional. This is not reason enough not to stay here but is simply not an area of the hotel's greatest strength - at least not yet. Given how determined the hotel is to deliver excellence in every other area, I suspect they will get there eventually here as well. All in all, if you are looking to be pampered in every way during a stay in Tokyo, then a stay at the Bulgari Tokyo is sure to deliver!
