I had a disappointing experience at Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo’s bar. I’ve previously stayed at the hotel and have always appreciated the property, which made this visit particularly surprising. On this occasion, my friends and I were staying at Aman Tokyo, but returned to Bvlgari for dinner at Sushi Hōseki—my third visit—where we spent approximately $2,000. Following dinner, we intended to continue the evening with drinks at the bar. Despite the venue being half empty, we were refused seating by the hostess, Ilaria, on the basis that we were not hotel guests. We explained that we had just dined at Sushi Hōseki, but this made no difference. The interaction felt unnecessarily dismissive and came across as both rigid and condescending. What made the experience more striking is the contrast with Aman Tokyo, where I have never encountered such a policy or attitude when visiting their bar. It’s disappointing when a brand of this caliber delivers an experience that feels exclusionary rather than welcoming—particularly after dining within the hotel. Unfortunately, this left a lasting negative impression, and I would hesitate to return, whether as a hotel guest or a restaurant patron.

What a treats! We decided to stop at Tokyo 3 nights on the way back from Niseko. We tried to book Peninsula Tokyo which we stayed many times, but it was fully booked so we tried Bvlgari Tokyo this time. And experience was "WOW". Room was on 43rd floor, facing West. We were able to see Mt. Fuji covered with snow, and views facing Imperial Palace was amazing! Service: What made this hotel so special was "service". They completely take advantage of Japanese "Omotenashi -hospitality", detailed, personalized service. We were shocked in the first morning when we saw our room was completely cleaned after we came back from breakfast! We can see they are truly trying to help us stay more enjoyable. Although hotel is in the middle of busy Tokyo station, it felt like we were staying in resort to enjoy their service. We stayed at Ritz, FS, Peninsula but this hotel was way over the top. Room: Bedroom was smaller than Peninsula Tokyo. The views and large floor to ceiling windows were amazing. Wish we have more desk space for work and small couch. Room was beautiful decorated, yellow and orange, never seen this kind of interior before. We enjoyed a lot. There were 1. Fruits 2, Bvlgari Chocolate 3. Wine 4. Sparkling/Still bottle water on the table. Soft drinks on mini bar was free. There were many, many kinds of local organic silk tea bags which filled often throughout a day. Very functional, long "his and hers" closets between the bed and bathroom. There were beautiful Italian PJs in the closets and loved it. All linens were Made in Italy (including bath towels etc ). There was pillow menu: of choices of many including silk and Tempurpedic which really helped. Bathroom: Wish bathroom color was brighter and shower stall has clear shower glass. Shower room was big enough, obscured glass wasn't fun. Bvlgari products everywhere: and refill every time they cleaned the room. Restaurant: We had breakfast and lunch at downstairs Italian restaurant. Fabulous service and fabulous foods. All dishes were Richard Ginori, I was VERY impressed. All linens were freshly pressed Italian linens. I am a big fan of fine linens and totally impressed. Timing of service, food, choices of customized items were totally unexpected. Spa: Didn't use the service, but we did use the pool/jacuzzi. Staff came and gave us a plush, extra large towels and jacuzzi was heaven. Location: Right across from Tokyo Station Yaesu exit. It is connected to Tokyo Station via basement (kind of difficult, but you'll get it after few try) and all department stores nearby. You can see end of Ginza from outside the hotels and about 10min walk. Great locations! We were so happy we stayed. Hope to come back again soon to get spoiled!

Was incredibly lucky to stay at Bulgari Hotel Tokyo for 9 nights in January 2026. Truly an absolute privilege and by far my most favorite hotel stay of all time. The entire team is phenomenal, and the service and attention to detail are light years beyond anything I've ever experienced. The guest rooms are beautifully appointed, common areas are gorgeous, and pool/spa are serene and lovely. Outstanding breakfast service and delicious dinners at Sushi Hoseki, The Bulgari Bar, and Niko Romito. What stands out above all else are the amazing humans (entirely too many to list) who went so far above and beyond to make me feel welcome, embraced, and at home as a 63 year old solo traveler. You are a rock star Antonio Bruno. You so have it all figured out. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to you and your stellar team for the perfect stay. Can't wait to get back soon.

I went to a hotel bar, and it was very stylish and wonderful.

My family stayed at the Bulgari Hotel Tokyo from 12 to 14 December 2025, and we would like to express our sincere gratitude for the exceptional care and support we received during our stay. On the night before our scheduled departure to Hokkaido, our flight with ANA was unexpectedly cancelled, and what should have been a simple transition quickly became a very stressful situation as we scrambled to find an alternative way to reach Sapporo. During this challenging time, every member of the front desk and concierge team whom we approached was calm, attentive, and genuinely helpful, offering thoughtful suggestions and reassurance when we needed it most. We would especially like to commend Mr. Kazuhiro Oba, Assistant Front Office Manager, who was on duty at the concierge early in the morning of 14 December. Mr. Oba went far beyond what would normally be expected of a hotel manager. He worked tirelessly to assist us in securing a new flight, provided invaluable advice, and reassured us that should all options fall through, he would ensure our room could be held for the night. His professionalism, empathy, and steady support made an overwhelming situation far more manageable. We would also like to acknowledge another member of Mr. Oba’s team (regrettably, we did not manage to note his name) who was equally outstanding. He was extremely professional, kind, and proactive—going so far as to assist us at the airport amid the chaos. Even when we were ultimately unable to board the rescheduled flight, Mr. Oba welcomed us back to the hotel with warmth and thoughtful touches that truly made us feel cared for. We are deeply grateful to Mr. Oba and his team, and we are so glad we chose to stay at the Bulgari Hotel Tokyo. It was a truly unforgettable experience, made all the more special by the genuine attention, kindness, and care shown by your staff. Thank you once again for turning a difficult situation into a lasting and positive memory.
