Conrad Tokyo

If you really want to test a hotel, show up with a freshly broken leg. I guarantee that the reception and treatment will tell you more about how guests are truly considered than all the frothy public relations statements. I wish I had kept notes of the names of everyone from the greeters who assisted me from the taxi to the lobby, the lovely young woman (but aren't they all?) who completed the check-in process so that I didn't need to stand at the counter, the various room service staff and the Mizuki Spa ladies who took great pains to see that I could still enjoy my spa appointments without adding to the pain I was already in. (For those of you shaking your head at the, er, 'wisdom', of going through with a facial and a massage with various broken extremities, I plead stubbornness because it was my first trip to Japan and it was already going to accomplish so much less than I had planned.) The rooms were lovely and accommodated the hotel's loaned wheelchair. The emerald green velvet sofa in front of the window was a perfect perch for me and my fracture. Luckily we had a gorgeous yet peaceful view so I was able to finish a few computer projects (instead of sightseeing) and came close to submerging my disappointment. I have to say that the A5 Wagyu filets, the salmon and the 'Oh, my stars, I can't believe fresh fruit like this actually exists!' in-room dining made me almost (ALMOST) happy to be room-bound. Never, ever have I stayed anywhere that was so consistently and conscientiously perfect. Which is why I'm going back in September. I'm not an actor, so please just wish me good luck, not 'break a leg.' Been there. Done that. Thank you.

We spent 9 nights at the Conrad across two legs of the trip. It was absolutely incredible. I can't think of anything that hasn't been (correctly) stated many times across other reviews, but I'll try. The staff is indeed incredible from the beginning. We mistakenly lost a passport at Haneda airport on our way in. The staff called EVERY lost and found across the airport. because of course there are multiple L&F spots. They hunted it down and I am very grateful to the staff. Even before check-in. I was in touch with the concierge on restaurant reservations. Some places are call only, and the staff helped secure every place we needed. The breakfast is top notch and a phenomenal way to start the day. We stayed in both bay and city view and I'd definitely recommend bay view. Although, watching the city at night on the other side has it's own appeal. The pool is very nice on the 29th floor in the spa. They had live entertainment every night in the lobby. It seemed the entertainment changed each night as well, but all soft and pleasant music. People do complain about the location, and I get it. There are plenty of places nearby close to Shimbashi station We LOVED Washoku En on the 43rd floor of the building next door. Ginza's a 15 minute walk across the Sky bridge. It's also about a 20 minute Metro ride to Shinjuku, and a little longer to Shibuya (with one change). It was a 20 minute taxi ride from Haneda that cost maybe 7K Yen. Overall, we could not have had a better experience and truly loved our time there.

GM Neil McInnes and his dedicated, amazing team are doing a fantastic job at our favorite hotel in Tokyo! My family and I fell in love with vibrant Tokyo nearly 20 years ago, and a big reason why was because of this hotel. The staff were and are some of the warmest, most welcoming people we have ever met and as a lifetime HH Diamond member I am traveling a lot domestically & ` internationally. The Conrad Tokyo is in the Minato District, situated in the Shiodome building covering the 28th to 37th floors. The hotel itself overlooks the beautiful Hamarikyu Gardens (Featuring a tidal pond with water drawn from Tokyo Bay and duck hunting grounds, Hama-rikyu Gardens is the garden of the Tokugawa Shogunate family, and functioned as the branch castle of the Edo Castle during the Edo era. It's said that the garden's current form was completed during the reign of the 11th-generation Shogun, Ienari. After the Meiji Restoration, it became the detached palace of the imperial family, and was renamed Hama-rikyu, a must visit when in Tokyo). Just steps from the Conrad hotel is the Shiodome subway station. It serves as an interchange for the Toei Ōedo Line (E-19) and Yurikamome (U-02). It's right next to Tokyo's famously glitzy Ginza district (think: Fifth Avenue in Manhattan just better and larger), expect a 7 mins walk. It's about a 25-minute car ride to Haneda International Airport (HND) if flying with ANA and an hour ride to Narita International Airport (NRT) if flying with JAL. Perfect location not only for any business trip to Tokyo but also for an exciting family stay. All 290 super clean guest rooms and suites boast minimalistic sleek and sophisticated Japanese design, the latest technology and tremendous panoramic views over Tokyo's bay or city area views. On the 28th floor is the lobby with access to business center, bars and all 3 restaurants (Collage, modern European/French cuisine, China Blue, Chinese cuisine and Kazahana, Japanese cuisine - Sushi / Teppan). The tranquil Mizuki Spa, modern fitness facilities, and a 25-meter pool to relax are located on the 29th floor. On the the 37th floor are the executive rooms and the famous Executive Lounge which sets standards not only for the Hilton/Conrad brand. We would like to express our gratitude to all hotel team members and their hard work which is much appreciated but an extra special thank you to the wonderful concierge team, Executive Lounge representatives and housekeeping to make our stays memorable! We are always sad to leave but are excited to return in the near future! 有難うございます。

Excellent stay at the Conrad. First we used the limousine bus to travel from Narita to the Conrad and very glad we did, we were exhausted and after a short wait, we were on the bus and taken directly to the Conrad. Upon arriving we were treated with the best service as would be expected at a Conrad. After the check in Nova Wang escorted us to our upgraded room. Her help and service were very appreciated since we had not stayed at this Conrad before. She definitly went above and beyond to make us comfortable. We enjoyed the Executive Lounge several times and enjoyed the incredible breakfast and service. The Conrad will be our go to place for staying in Tokyo. Many thanks.

Excellent stay at Conrad Tokyo. Very convenient location close to Ginza area. Subway is right under the hotel and JR station in about 10 minutes walk. Rooms very comfortable. Food and service in restaurants are excellent. Special thank you to Executive lounge team
