Extremely happy with the experience at this hotel. Worth the expense from the highly attentive, friendly, and helpful staff to the amazing view and amenities in the room. Extra large room with comfortable bedding, personal items such as pajamas, toothbrush, toto toilet whose lid opens and closes on its own, yoga mat, incredible shower. Location next to subway with a Lawson's store within 25 ft of hotel. The Driftwood restaurant and bar has incredible views of Tokyo including Tokyo Tower. I paid for breakfast to be included in the price of the room. Loved it. Not a buffet and meals ordered a la carte. I would stay here longer if I could. You need to experience it for yourself.

Our stay at the Fairmont Tokyo was nothing short of exceptional. We reserved a beautifully appointed one bedroom suite with sweeping views of Tokyo Bay and the city skyline, serene, expansive, and utterly silent. Not once did we hear a sound from neighboring rooms or the corridor; the tranquility was remarkable for a city of this scale. Every detail feels intentional. Service is polished yet warm, effortlessly anticipating needs without ever feeling intrusive. Dining was equally impressive with beautifully executed dishes both via room service and in the Gold Lounge, where the experience feels elevated but relaxed. The welcome persimmon was, quite simply, my favorite amenity gift to date and I travel often and well. A thoughtful nod to place that felt refined rather than routine. The location is ideal: seamless for drivers and guides to access, and conveniently close to designer boutiques and a proper grocery. Traveling with my 17-year old son, it struck the perfect balance of sophistication and comfort. We were genuinely sad to leave—but Godzilla calls. As an Accor Diamond member, I can confidently say this property is truly best in class.

It’s easy to see why this was one of the most anticipated openings of 2025. From the moment you walk in, the sense of grandeur is real. The location in Shibaura is a little tucked away from the main tourist chaos, but honestly, that’s part of the luxury. You’re still within an easy walk of the Monorail and JR station, so getting around isn't an issue at all. The Views just WOW, having Tokyo Tower, Mount Fuji, and Tokyo Bay all visible from one building is breathtaking. Whether it’s the sunrise over Fuji or the tower glowing at night, the views are constant "pinch me" moments. The Room The rooms are gargantuan—about 50sqm, which is basically a palace in Tokyo. Everything from the layout to the top-notch amenities felt incredibly high-end. Wellness & Gym The health facilities are outstanding. The gym is very well-equipped (better than most dedicated clubs), and working out with a direct view of Tokyo Tower—especially at night—is an experience in itself. Breakfast A major highlight was the breakfast. They’ve gone with an a la carte menu rather than a massive, overwhelming buffet. It feels much more exclusive and luxurious. It’s definitely a "quality over quantity" approach, but don’t worry—the portions are very filling. If you want a modern, sprawling sanctuary that feels like the new peak of Tokyo luxury, this is it.

Fairmont review Truly up there with the best! We stayed for two nights and with our family of six (two adults four kids), we had two magnificent interconnecting rooms. Three kids shared one room and we had the other with our youngest child; there was ample room. The bedding, pyjamas, room facilities including the outstanding bath were all absolutely superb. The hotel may have been open for six months but our room felt like it was brand new and even with that ‘new car smell’. Even the slippers were just a quality level above everywhere else and I have size 12 feet; the slippers actually fit me!! We had lounge access and again the Gold lounge was a cut above many others I’ve visited. The breakfast, afternoon tea and selection of drinks in the evening were all of the highest quality with the staff being exemplary both with attention and discreetness. Get the Japanese breakfast; it’s superb! We also had dinner at the Italian restaurant which was lovely. The kids enjoyed pizza and pasta though we ended up getting two portions each as the kids portions weren’t enough for the kids; it would have been great to have been able to order bigger sizes. The only potential downside is the location which is a little further out from the main areas of Tokyo, requiring a short ten minute walk to the local station (not underground/ subway - you need to connect to get to that). I didn’t mind but with four kids that’s an extra burden each time you go out especially if you are walking everywhere everyday. However silver linings, being out of the man area affords you the most tremendous views both over the bay and towards the city from all sides. A great silver lining and for me worth the location. The gym was also great; clean, good amount of free weights, space and state of the art technogym machines. I didn’t use the pool but again looked inviting! The coup de grace for me were the staff though. Hotel management should be so proud of how great every single team member is. The smiles, the always being ready to help and really the little things and the little moments of interaction - nothing was ever a trouble or difficult and particularly we enjoyed sharing photos of home with the staff. Dr Porsche at reception was so kind and even came down the elevator to wave us off as we left on our last day. The Fairmont Tokyo staff are truly exceptional and deserve all the praise we could give them. Our 4yo son was sad to say goodbye. So overall, I/ we would definitely recommend the Fairmont Tokyo. The hotel itself is furnished and spaced to the best possible quality and that’s evident everywhere you look. We slept so well and loved the staff, facilities and for me, the magnificent premium Japanese whisky each evening! We’ll be back for sure; thanks again Fairmont Tokyo

Great new hotel with absolutely one of best view in Tokyo. The Gold Lounge has potential to be a great place. Please keep improving. Gym is large but has no weight machine. Recommend to add at least 5 more machines. Beds are one of the best in Japan. Le Labo amenities are amazing.
