Experience moments of more at a dynamic lifestyle destination hotel in the heart of Roppongi, Tokyo – a lively international district. With its central location directly connected to Roppongi Hills which houses 200 shops and restaurants, a cinema, an art museum and an observatory, Grand Hyatt Tokyo is the perfect base from which to comfortably explore and discover the city.

the service was astounding. I was at the lobby looking for the link to Roppongi Hills, and a ground staff observed and quickly came to ask me if i needed help. They were attentive and quick to help. This made my stay really pleasant and unforgettable. Not forgetting the nice room, with a blue tooth speaker for you to use, it was truly helpful as I like to listen to songs rather than watching the tv. location is also perfect.

Poor Elite Recognition. Placed in 2 low floor rooms right above lobby entrance for 1 Globalist and 1 Globalist “Guest of Honor”. Breakfast at the French Market is an extra 60k JP¥, even as Elites. Nearest subway station, Roponggi, is 10-15 minutes walk away, so quite inconvenient. I would much rather stay at the Hyatt Regency or the Park Hyatt.

Amazing pool and spa. You will love the several massage chairs in the locker room after a long day of touring. The concierge and staff go the extra mile, especially Sarah, Asako, and Karen (maybe off on the name). The only thing I would note is that the room layout is odd, with some older tech in the rooms. Regardless, the room size is bigger than most so we were comfortable.

I only had one night in Tokyo and chose this hotel for its location and connectivity to shopping and transit. I booked through the AmEx Fine Hotels and Resorts program, and the front desk clerk asked me to give him a few moments to get my room upgraded to one with a higher floor and a view. I said no problem and told him I would check out the lobby area while he got it squared away. When I returned to the check in desk, my room was ready, and Ayaka, the hotel's business manager apologized profusely for the delay. This is still maybe ten minutes after I left the cab, which was still very reasonable in my eyes. She offered me her business card and requested that I reach out to her if I had any issues or concerns. The room itself was superb! It was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the view of Tokyo Tower and the skyline from the upgrade was magnificent! The minibar offered complimentary bottled water as well as tea- and coffee-making options. The bed was plush and comfortable. The bathroom offered a wonderful soaking tub and separate walk-in shower. The toilet had its own room and was one of the wonderful Japanese styles, with heated seat and multi-function bidet. The hotel is connected to the Roppongi Hills shopping center, which offers everything from Gucci and Tiffany to McDonald's and Starbucks. It also has those wonderful Japanese convenience stores that I could spend hours browsing in as well as an art museum and an observation deck. The shopping center is also connected to subway system, which makes for easy exploration. Upon check out, the front desk agent offered me a gift bag with a hand-written note from Aya, thanking me for my stay as well as a couple of boxes of goodies from the on-premise Italian cafe. It was a very impressive gesture and showed how much the Grand Hyatt values customer service and loyalty. This was my first trip to both Tokyo and the Grand Hyatt, but it will not be my last. Tokyo is an amazing city, and this hotel is the perfect place to stay while there! Arigato gozaimasu to both Aya and the Grand Hyatt!
