Lovely hotel complex in the heart of Tokyo, quiet yet very convenient
A lovely hotel with extensive beautifully managed garden space. Location is actually quiet in comparison to Shinjuku/Shibuya. Buffet Breakfast available on the 40th Floor of the Garden Tower with great views, especially over the Palace garden area. Triple room was very spacious (40m2) and with everything you may need. The hotel complex has multiple restaurants and shops but you are still quite close to restaurants in 5 minutes walk at Asakusa (go to roads around Esplanade Asakusa). The garden area is also used for Wedding Photos, particularly during the blossom season. All staff extremely polite and helpful. This hotel is on extremely large sloping plot with the lobby area in fact on the 6th floor of the Garden Towe area (check the link to the PDF of the map). This can be a bit confusing. If you are arriving in Japan for the first time at Tokyo, I would highly recommend this hotel which is a great start as the gardens bring out the best in Japan (plants, fish, waterfall), many restaurant food options both in and out of the hotel, great Buffet Breakfast with great views wither from the 40th floor or of the Garden (floor 7/lobby), your not in an overly busy area but very close to usefully well connected metro stations, with key attractions fairly close

A maze of a complex
Very helpful staff and even though the standard room was quite cramped, it was comfortable. This hotel seems to cater to big groups, and there was a lot of public space to accommodate them. The check in however took an hour from joining a fairly short queue to getting the key card. It’s not that close to the metro stops and you have to navigate a lot of corridors to get outside. Everywhere just seemed far.

5 star hotel with 5 star service. Disappointed with the lounge, no drinks or food. Disappointed with the breakfast 3 star at best.

A very pleasant and comfortable stay in an upmarket hotel
We stayed here for 7 nights, 4 of which were as part of a Riviera tour of Japan (we came out early ahead of the tour). Superbly managed hotel, excellent breakfast included in our price, helpful, friendly staff and very comfortable room. Location is great, a 5 minute walk to the nearest subway station which takes you to Tokyo central. Only downside the cost of the in-house meals in the 20+ restaurants, but loads of more affordable restaurants in the town just a 10 minute walk away.

Great place to stay
Very big and comfortable rooms. Very polite and helpful staff. Awesome garden! Isn't the closest to a station, but very easy to grab a taxi.
