With an incomparable perspective on the city and a singular, moat-side setting just opposite the Imperial Palace gardens, the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Palace Hotel Tokyo is a haven of hospitality – serene and refined, and imbued with understated luxury throughout. Paying homage to a legacy that dates back more than half a century, the multi-award-winning modern masterpiece is a sophisticated celebration of its country’s culture and a tribute to omotenashi – Japanese hospitality.

Excellent hotel, very rightly selected as a member of the Leading Hotels of the World! Super well located next to Tokyo station (allowing for easy access to most of Tokyo) and in front of the Imperial Palace, gardens and museum (the latter two absolutely worth a visit). We’ve much appreciated the service (a great mix of Japanese style with international hospitality), the design of the hotel, the quality of the room and its features, the great breakfast buffet, the gym, the art displayed on the premises of the hotel, … I can highly recommend this place and we’d go back without any doubt on our next Tokyo visit.

I visit Tokyo once a quarter for work, and since I tried it for the first time a couple of years ago Palace Hotel has now become my favourite hotel to stay at. In my view, it’s one of the very best - definitely top 3 (if not the best) - city/metropolitan hotels in the world. Everything is just consistently and seamlessly perfect. The location is unbeatable, with airy and unobstructed views of the Imperial Gardens as well as of the Tokyo skyline. Rooms are perfect. I would strongly recommend the balcony rooms; I love sitting on the balcony (weather permitting) and enjoying the views. Everything is in perfect working conditions. Beds comfortable. Water pressure very strong. Private bar with some great quality glasses (yes, these details matter). A particular praise for housekeeping, who do an marvellous job. Laundry and dry cleaning services are also excellent (to the point that I sometimes get my most delicate garments cleaned at Palace Hotel instead of back home in London). Service in general is outstanding. Ring the operator for anything, and it shows up to the room in something like 3 minutes. Plenty of staff around in the communal areas to help with anything one may need. Push the housekeeping button when leaving the room, and it gets cleaned within 30 minutes. Pre arrival assistance and checkin are always impeccable. Even if I tried really hard, I could not find a fault. F&B offerings are excellent and very diverse. I have a sweet spot for the Royal Bar; perfect execution, definitely one of the best bars in Tokyo. Restaurants are excellent (Sushi Kanesaka is in my view better than many of the 3 Michelin-starred venues in Tokyo). What’s not to like about this amazing place?

We recently stayed at the Palace Hotel Tokyo as a family of 3 including our 6-year-old child and it was an extraordinary stay. The hotel exudes warmth and wonderful hospitality that Japan is known for. Palace hotel is located in the heart of Tokyo. The hotel lobby has direct access to otemachi station which makes travelling in tokyo very easy. Our room had panoramic views of both Tokyo's iconic landmarks – the Tokyo Skytree and Tokyo Tower. The view of serene Imperial Palace gardens made it more picturesque. The thoughtful gesture of providing a kid dental kit and mini sleepers for our kid is highly appreciated. Our stay is a beautiful memory which is etched in heart forever. Highly recommended!

An excellent hotel with a great location for central Tokyo. There being so little green space in central Tokyo, it is a real pleasure to have a room overlooking a large green park! Even more so when the hotel itself is very comfortable and with excellent service. The food here was also very good! Do note that the bathrooms (at least the one room I stayed in!) have that silly modern approach of having partial glass walls, so there is not full privacy.

Booked 8 nights at Palace Hotel Tokyo – Club Grand Deluxe Room King w/Balcony and Club Deluxe Room W/Balcony for family trip in July. Originally, I made an online reservation at Janu Tokyo directly from their website, later I had to modify the reservation due to additional family member joining us, it took Janu 5 days to reply to my reservation change email, not exactly the caliber of service I’m expecting considering the amount of money they charge, I decided to cancel the reservation with Janu and booked Palace Hotel Tokyo. We had zero regrets with Palace, in fact they exemplify outstanding Japanese hospitality. All follow up email communication and requests with Palace were responded within next day. We had a wonderful stay at Palace Hotel, rooms were spacious and comfortable, the Club Lounge access for breakfast and afternoon drinks were convenient and inviting, we also had dinner at Go and Sushi Kanesaka both were delicious. The hotel basement provides access to Otemachi Station and a maze to Tokyo Station. Above all there were plenty of staff readily available to assist with your needs.
