We visited Tokyo and stayed at a number of 5 star hotel, leaving The Palace hotel for our last night. I wished we had spent all the trip at this hotel! Location: Amazing! Central location situated right next to the Royal Palace and conveniently located near Tokyo Station. Service level: this hotel is in a class of its own. As soon as staffs see you arrive they run towards you to help! I stained my business suit and called room service at 7pm as I was leaving the next day and needed the stain removed. They guaranteed it would be returned by 7am the next day and sure enough, it was indeed returned by 6h50 am (stain removed). Unbelievable service! Food/Services: again amazing. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel and both exceeded all expectations. We did not try their Michelin star restaurants but their all day Kitchen restaurant was great! It’s where they serve breakfast too. I typically avoid hotel breakfasts as I have been too often disappointed but not here… you must try it! Again, great choice and great quality. This hotel is our favourite go to place in Tokyo and we will return!

The hotel is spectacularly located across from the Imperial Palace. The entire team was incredibly welcoming and helpful. We had some special logistics sending ski equipment up to Hokkaido, which the hotel handled brilliantly. The team was helpful ordering taxis and with dinner reservations and other transport advice. The room was stocked with delightful amenities as well as pajamas

I only have wonderful things to say about the Palace Hotel in Tokyo. The rooms were spotless and light-filled with exceptional views. The service was five-star. The breakfast options were plenty (choose from Japanese or Western). We loved the location across the street from the Imperial gardens. The gym was large and well equipped and the pool was amazing for doing laps. Did I mention the five-star service? Every step of the way the staff went above and beyond. I can’t recommend this hotel enough.

As it was my first trip, I was looking at all the Tokyo hotel reviews (exhaustively!) to figure out where to stay. I stayed in two different hotels in the city, as my trip was broken up by a longer journey throughout Japan. I cannot recommend The Palace enough! It was not only a phenomenal location (close to both the Imperial Gardens and the shopping of Ginza), but the staff is knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile to make your stay extra-, extra-special. I think that there is some real clout that comes with being such a grande dame hotel in any city...and in this case, The Palace seems to attract a best-of-the-best staff because of it. The hotel also a reputation that probably precedes itself in terms of making important, hard-to-get restaurant reservations and the like. I would like to particularly make mention of the Chief Concierge, Mayako Sumiyoshi, who--along with her team--knows Tokyo so unbelievably well, she will never steer you wrong with her suggestions. Everything we did was spot-on for what we were looking for, and I don't think we would have had the same experience anywhere else. Of course the hotel room and property itself was wonderful, but that's actually more to be expected when you're choosing a luxury hotel of this level. What really sets this hotel apart was the perfect know-how in suggesting exactly what we would want to do and helping us implement it flawlessly. Very valuable for a first-time visitor for whom language and a lack of seasoned experience in a city is a barrier. Thank you again Mayako and A+ Palace Hotel team!
