Palace Hotel Tokyo

We normally stay at the Peninsula hotel, but were trying out the Palace hotel this time round for a change. We loved the Peninsula hotel for the location right next to Ginza, but as it turned out, Palace Hotel was also very convenient. First of all, the view of the imperial palace garden was spectacular. The rooms, and especially the French restaurants and the lounge bar definitely made full use of it. Secondly, it also had access to a few different train lines so going out/walking to Tokyo station was a breeze. Service here was extremely good, the concierge desk responded to everything in an impressive manner. There were also an excellent selection of F&B outlets, we tried a few of them and they were all very good and reasonably priced. All in all a great stay and we would love to return on our next visit to Tokyo.

Beautiful hotel in Tokyo and fantastic service. Highlight for us was the breakfast. The check in experience was relatively cold and not totally clear, which maybe was just one glitch as what we experienced throughout our stay was exceptional service.

Even the bathroom amenities were replenished daily, which was something we had never experienced before. Every member of staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to do anything possible to help. We would especially like to praise the Club Lounge, which we had access to due to our room status. The Manager, Yuki Nakasone, and Assistant Manager, Lisa Kobayashi, were truly exceptional. My husband Nigel became quite ill during our stay, and I was understandably very upset. Yuki and Lisa showed such kindness, care, and compassion, and they did everything they could to support us during a difficult time. We will never forget their kindness. The food and drinks available in the Club Lounge were excellent, and because Nigel was unwell, we often ate there in the evenings as it was just perfect for us. The opening hours were also incredible — food and drinks were available almost all day, which is something we have never experienced in any other hotel. Our suite for the five-night stay was spacious, comfortable, and had a wonderful balcony, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel’s location is also perfect — right by the Palace grounds and within easy walking distance of many tourist attractions and areas of Tokyo. We truly cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and would absolutely stay again
