Reviews for Palace Hotel Tokyo

Great location, classy, beautiful hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 days ago

This large hotel has beautiful spaces and is well situated for walking through the Imperial Palace Garden or to the train station shops and restaurants. It also offers a few shops and good restaurants in its lower level. The ground floor restaurant has a wonderful outdoor area overlooking a moat. Eggs Benedict are the best. Rooms are very spacious and offer a perfect patio overlooking the Imperial Palace and much of the city. Tea, coffee and an extensive minibar in the room. The bathroom is large with the best shower ever and a large soaking bathtub. Service is very good.

A wonderful Palace!

An outstanding hotel! The staff are so very friendly and helpful. The Chief Concierge (M Sumiyoshi) was awesome and we are sure that much of the success of our holiday was attributable to everything she did to help organise our itinerary! We had a room that provided us with access to the club lounge and that was excellent. We preferred having breakfast in the lounge as it was much more peaceful than the main breakfast room. The main breakfast room does have an unbeatable selection of food options but can be busy early in the morning. The staff in the club lounge were so kind and friendly - the service and the quality of the food was really outstanding. Our room was large and spacious with a comfortable lounge area, terrace and lovely bathroom. Views across Tokyo were spectacular. The daily delivery of pyjamas was a nice treat and though I didn't love the bathroom amenities, my partner did. Great showers. We loved this hotel. We're going back to Tokyo in 2025 and we're definitely staying the Palace again!

Amazing stay at Palace Hotel Tokyo

The hotel staff were always on hand, answering with politeness, and trying to make your stay just that bit better. The breakfast was nice, with a mix of Japanese and Western choices. Our stay was very enjoyable and the hotel’s location is excellent!

Top-end luxury

We stayed in deluxe rooms with balconies; the views were amazing and it was lovely to have some outside space. The rooms were high spec and very luxurious with one of the biggest double beds ever! There is a cosy bar with a bar menu for food. Service throughout was top-notch and very attentive which meant the whole experience was blissful. The hotel connects directly into the metro system, with a number of lines passing through, although it is a bit of a hike to get to the ticket hall and platforms. We didn’t have time to try the swimming pool or gym. Such a lovely hotel.

Quiet Room and very convenient location and very expensive.

We stayed here 6 nights. We are Leaders Club Members. Did not get an upgrade. Hmmmm... I always did before. Everything was just fine in the room. High floor. Executive lounge. Very good. The only issue we had was we could NOT get our coffee or breakfast served to us in their main restaurant. TWICE!. We ended up eating breakfast in the executive lounge. For what we paid, we should have received perfect service for breakfast. Inexcusable. Also, we arranged a day tour of Nikko and everything was great.
