The Park Hyatt spans from the 39th to 52nd floor in the glass tower designed by Kenzo Tange. It is one of the best hotels in Tokyo and is a legend, best known for its starring role in Lost in Translation alongside Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson. It offers flawless service, views of Mount Fuji and one of the most atmospheric cocktail bars in the world. The guest rooms at Park Hyatt Tokyo are spacious and serene, each offering walk-in closets and high-tech amenities. All guestrooms are appointed with original artwork, exquisite woods and fabrics and books for reference and pleasure.

It's back! We waited for it to re-open and so glad we did. The changes to the main floor were minimal (which we appreciate). A few more curves in the furniture, perhaps. The bedroom had some tweaks, but still remained a classic. I don't recall if opening the door opened the curtains pre-renovation, but a nice touch. The service remains impeccable -- always someone to help you, without it feeling intrusive. Breakfast is beautiful (beautiful really is the word). The New York Grill -- we still love the caviar dish and the steaks (and the brownie). In sum: so glad it's back, and so glad the renovation kept its essential spirit.

Park Hyatt Tokyo recently underwent a major renovation and officially reopened on the 9th. We checked in on the 10th, which was our last day in Japan. Although I never experienced the hotel prior to the renovation, the new design felt elegant, understated, and timeless—something I truly appreciated. The service was outstanding from start to finish. This is exactly why you choose to stay at a Park Hyatt. Our breakfast experience was phenomenal, both in terms of the quality of the food and the attentiveness of the service. While the hotel is a bit off from the nearest subway station, we didn’t mind the walk to Shinjuku Station, which took about 10–15 minutes. In fact, we extended our stay specifically to experience the newly renovated Park Hyatt Tokyo, and it was absolutely worth it.

This is a hotel that has everything. Helpful and attentive staff. Both effort and perfection from them. Any facility you can think of. Spa. Pool. Gym. Multiple dining options that are all amazing. The room I had was spectacular with an amazing view of the mountains. Ice was already waiting and refreshed daily. Cannot recommend enough.

Spectacular Tokyo views, hushed rooms, and an excellent breakfast. Impeccable service; ideal for unwinding after busy days in the city

This place is next level. The room was huge, super clean, and the view of the city (and Mount Fuji on a clear day!) was insane. The staff were really friendly and makes check-in super smooth. Loved hanging out in the bar for a drink in the evening – it's classy but still chill. Totally worth it if you want a proper Tokyo experience.
