The Park Hyatt spans from the 39th to 52nd floor in the glass tower designed by Kenzo Tange. It is one of the best hotels in Tokyo and is a legend, best known for its starring role in Lost in Translation alongside Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson. It offers flawless service, views of Mount Fuji and one of the most atmospheric cocktail bars in the world. The guest rooms at Park Hyatt Tokyo are spacious and serene, each offering walk-in closets and high-tech amenities. All guestrooms are appointed with original artwork, exquisite woods and fabrics and books for reference and pleasure.

Great property, great service. Got an email a day ahead of our stay, our request was quickly heard and accommodated. Tomome-san was great at check-in, very courteous. All the staff from the bell desk to the Club house, they were top-notch; wiling to help you and serve you. Hardware is great as they finished the renovation just weeks ago. Somewhat far from the Shinjuku station, but they have a shuttle. The shuttle driver is very nice as well.

The “new” Park Hyatt Tokyo did not disappoint. The entire hotel has that new car smell! The updates are most noticeable in the room -- the bed, living area, minibar, and bathroom -- the changes were beautifully executed. The place feels both brand-new and familiar at the same time. We were still able to experience the charm and nostalgia of this iconic property, along with the exceptional hospitality from the staff. We’ll definitely be back soon!

Great hotel, amazing service. Very convenient location. A great option in Tokyo. The hotel upkeep is perfect, service is fantastic and the facilities are very nice. The breakfast buffet was excellent as well.

Absolutely wonderful hotel. Stunning views from all directions. Impeccable service, clean & comfortable room. Amazing, polite, efficient staff. Highly recommend this beautiful hotel. After a busy day touring Tokyo coming back to the hotel was peaceful & relaxing.

Newly refurbished (the rooms are brand new), the hotel is as superb as it was when we first came in 2019. The rooms are luxurious and modern as can be, the view is amazing. The hotel is beautiful and luxurious and the rooms are very well decorated to create a sense of warmth but those big hallways are a bit cold. The pool and the view from the pool is difficult to match but those wanting to play might want be disappointed as it is a long pool with swimming lanes designed to swim not to play with the kids. The breakfast at Girandole by Ducasse is a wonderful experience and I could come back just to have that breakfast once again. All that said, I won’t come back to the hotel because it is a business after all but in the hospitality sector you have to make some compromises to prioritize your guests feeling welcomed before rentability (or don’t make it that obvious) Japanese New Year is all about tradition and family, the New Year at Park Hyatt is all about influencers having a VIP corner while guests at the hotel struggle to just sit. The New York Bar may have a breathtaking view but I would not know anything about that because upon going there to have a drink with my wife we were told to get in the line with all the visitors. Every respectable 5 star hotel have their guests wellbeing before visitors or instagrammers in mind, Pak Hyatt Tokyo should take note because they will lose the families and that feeling of a cold place will get stronger.
