One of the city’s most luxurious hotels superbly located in Yurakucho, opposite the Imperial Palace and Hibiya Park, The Peninsula Tokyo offers commanding views of the Japanese capital skyline. The Hotel is within minutes' walk of the shopping capital of Ginza and Shinbashi. What sets the Peninsula Tokyo apart from other international luxury hotels is its focus on creating a modern Japanese ambience, whereas other hotels adopt a standard international décor. The Peninsula Tokyo’s interior and exterior is contemporary, yet echoes Japan’s rich heritage and culture in its design. The Peninsula Tokyo pampers its guests with a spa center and a fitness club with a swimming pool and sun loungers, overlooking the Imperial Palace Gardens. Ryokan-inspired rooms are simple and streamlined, designed with the idea of "techno-ergonomic-user-friendly", so every control and switch is located precisely where it is required so its use is intuitive and effortless. The granite and cherry wood bathrooms with large soaking tubs will make your stay a pleasant relax.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! Everything about it was perfect — the place was spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and well-maintained in every detail. The location was absolutely excellent, close to everything we needed and made it easy to explore the area. One of the highlights was seeing the incredible “Lying Dragon Gate” sculpture in the lobby — a breathtaking piece by artist Keisen Hama. And it was nice to see the artist behind this incredible pice . Overall, it was a memorable and impressive stay, and I would definitely return and recommend it to others!

Stayed at The Peninsula as part of our family vacation. Had a suite and a separate room for our adult children. We loved our stay! The suite was spectacular. Walking in and seeing the unobstructed view of Tokyo skyline from the suite’s 16th floor living room was breathtaking! While it’s clear that the property is older, it is certainly a “grande dame” of luxury hotels where world-class attention to details makes you forget about some of the super modern amenities. Every staff member we came across was incredibly pleasant and ready to assist at the moment’s notice. Hotel's location, just a couple of blocks from Ginza, was fantastic.

One of the finest city hotels I have stayed in. The staff couldn’t be more friendly and welcoming . Our suite had a beautiful view overlooking Tokyo as did the Peters bar. Peter’s Bar had a stunning selection of Japanese malt whiskeys although be warned they are very expensive!

This is pure old school 5 star luxury, loved the vibe, the service, the lobby are is stunning with the orchestra and afternoon tea, bed super comfortable and the walk in wardrobe was like having a second room. Absolutely brilliant location too..

Stayed for two night following a cruise. Great location to base your tours of Tokyo from. From the moment we arrived until the day we left everything was perfect. Staff were accommodating and friendly. Easily provided a late check out to accommodate our flights. Our room was beautiful and perfectly appointed. The gym, while maybe a bit small, is well equipped. Breakfast in the ground floor dining area was superb. Could not recommend this hotel any higher.
